So the one push pull knob splits the coils on both pickups? Wonder why you didn't do a separate one for each pickup, so you could mix humbucker and single coil sounds?
Great vid and I can't figure out why the Dot is like $50 cheaper than the Epiphone 335. A lot of places have it that way and sure so i thought you might know/ Is the Epiphone 335 $50 better or maybe a little better quality? Thanks man.
Good question! Very minor differences from what I can see and mostly cosmetic. No neck binding on the dot and metal tuner buttons instead of the 335 vintage tuners. Different knobs and different headstock but more preference than function. Looks like the 335 is more like a vintage reissue than modern hardware.

Sadly I did not weigh it before the customer picked it up but online it looks like the deluxe says 12.75 and the dot is 11-12 pounds but keep in mind that includes the packaging weight.
