  • I left the shores of Buttermere to start the long steep climb to Bleaberry Tarn. Passing lovely views of Buttermere Lake and water falls where I do a wild camp at Bleaberry Tarn. Strong Winds and Heavy rain.

    That's quite the adventure!! Putting up tents in the wind and rain is never fun but you did it well! Love your pup! I lose my appetite too and it's hard to even get enough calories to feel good sometimes!

    Hi Steve, great video and good to see you using a Nammatj2. I used to have one but made the big mistake of selling it and now I would love it back.. All the best Tom

      To be honest Tom I have heard a few people say they regret getting rid of
      the Nammatj 2. Think I will hang on to my lol.

    It's a nice spot but not an easy walk up or down, that pillow case looked the business I'll be getting my wife to make one😁

      @stevesdaysoff2759  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Mark. Tell me about it lol. My knees are still a pit sore after the walk down. I think I was on the same pitch as Shaun. Well we are supposed to be tuff wild campers and we are talking about soft pillow cases lol. Yes the pillow case was lovely and made a difference. Thanks for watching and commenting. Steve.

    I can't wait to camp at Lake District. I went part time for 3 months in work to wild camp regularly - helps the mood. And this happens!
    Will subscribe and check your other stuff out. Brilliant spot.

      @@stevesdaysoff2759 Do you know of any good spots with a plunge spool I can dip in? But the tarns all look beautiful too.
      I visited Lake District last year and I could not believe just how utterly stunning it was. England's hidden gems are superior to Scotland's in my opinion. I also utterly fell in love with Yorkshire and I'll definitely be heading there too.

      Hello Monty. To me Scotland is far better than the lakes with better rivers with good pools. There is a lot of pools in the Lakes along most becks, streams. Borrowdale valley has a few Hope this helps. Steve
