My Irish accountant told me many years ago that if I took a dividend that I would be taxed at 7% in Italy. I remember reading the trade agreement and it seemed clear back then.
That is correct but it only applies when you move to the qualifying regions in Italy, basically south and east of Naples, Sardinia, Sicily and also some additional areas, and the municipality must have a population of less than 20,000. Do a quick Google on the 7% rules and you'll find tons of detailed info. I'm sure Paolo here would be able to give you the full info and best advice.
The one task that a lot of people miss, unfortunately. Prepare, prepare and prepare. Work on detailes and do not base any important plans on average information, general advice or superficial overviews
😲😲😲 thanks as always
