Thanks for watching! I hope this video helps anyone considering a French Bulldog understand the real costs and responsibilities. Mila's been a blessing, but planning ahead is so important for their health and happiness.
This was so helpful! I’ve been thinking about getting a Frenchie, and your breakdown made me realize how much goes into their care. Thank you for being so transparent.
Glad it was helpful! I am so glad I can make people aware of what goes into Frenchie ownership! And really any higher maintenance breed. Just good to know what you might be getting into ;)
I like your video, but I personally have had my Frenchie since he was like 9-10 weeks old and I’ve never had any problems with him before so I’m going to say it depends on your dogs diet…He’s about to turn 10 years old soon and he’s still 100%…💯
It's great to hear you've had such a healthy Frenchie! Every dog is different and it's awesome to see a healthy pup. Mila eats super clean her issues are stemming mostly from environmental allergies. And happy almost birthday to him! 10 years is amazing!! share a photo if you can in the comments! Not sure if you are able to
Wow...my frenchie is very healthy...no issues of any kind....4 years old. Regular vet exams and innoculations. We brush his teeth and trim his nails and give his baths ourselves. Sounds like this dog may have poor breeding and a rich owner. My Min. Schnauzer (12 yo) had foot surgery for cancer this year...all appts., surgery, meds were less than $2k. I'm stunned by this lady and her expensives...talk about high maintenance. Wow.
Well…. I would like to push back on the idea of poor breeding and rich owner.. I have 2 frenchies from the same and one just had underlying health issues and allergies the other is 100%. The idea of it just being poor breeding and a wealthy owner is close minded. We averaged 1k a month on each of them just on up keep. Insurance, specialty food, etc.
