At my church camp my youth pastor said “Boy are blue, girls are red, please do not go purple” And I laughed and got a little confused of what he meant by “don’t go purple” cause I hadn’t really experienced a summer camp like that in a while. It wasn’t until later in the week I see one of the middle schoolers from my church go purple 😭😭😭

It's really fun! This is my first year going to church camp as an actual youth kid but I have gone to camp since I was 6, because my dad is the pastor. There is so many fun activities and you constantly make new friends! Also at camp I always feel close to God.
