You made it look so easy lol. I just installed this for my in-laws. The design where the wires connect is horrendous. You gotta squeeze those wires in. It doesn't even match the drawing on the instructions manual where the wires connect to the opposite side of the wiring block. The plastic is a bit flimsy (not sure if other spot lights at this price range are the same). Overall, the light output is good for what it is.

Nice just picked this up because that’s all they had. Wanted to match the previous HF 3 LED but this should do.

I purchased this light from harbor freight 5 years ago for $40 dollars and even purchased the 2 years extended warranty and it just now started to go bad and is ficlkering. I am going to go buy another one but this time after getting this extended warranty I am going 1 day before it expires and get a new one just in case!

I have this light -- ours finally burned out after nearly two years. Not sure whether to recommend or not -- it served us well enough that I might repurchase, this time with extended warranty.
Regarding the video itself, it was helpful and informative -- thanks for sharing. My only minor quibble would relate to the use of terms "positive" and "negative" in the context of AC wiring, where those terms become meaningless.

Eric Adamson Two year is not bad, I suppose it depends on how often it used that determines its life? I’m curious to see how long ours lasts.
Thanks for watching the video and I appreciate you giving me that insight on AC.

I was wondering how long these things would last. I put mine up last week. I bought the warranty but it's only two years so it's a wash

I have the same light and the same drill. Weird. I installed it last week, the only difference was that I put caulk on the joint between the the base and the top half that you plug in

I have a question? Can I use it to only turn on at night and turn off in the morning?

I installed this light in front of my garage this last spring and now it is not working anymore. I took it down and opened it up and found that moisture had gotten in it and shorted out the board. The light was mounted under an over hang so it wasn't getting rained on that mean just the ambient moisture in the air was able to get inside the unit and short it.

Wow! Now I’m curious to see how long mine will last. I’ll do an update video if it shorts out too. Thanks for the heads up.

Does it come with a gasket? Try silicone caulking around?

Bro mines was open up a bit for one year I finally realized it I been running this light till this morning actually for 1.4 years and it worked fine I left it on every night for 8 to 10 hours I turn it on at 6 pm wake up at 7 am to turn it off I just did that this morning I still haven’t caulk the gab where the seem is but the cover is flat and tight against my wall
Maybe u don’t have experience installing them but I made sure all my wire was screws onto the plate and the cover has a flange I think

@@autumnnbenny768 Glad yours worked for you. I had since replaced this light with another one and it has held up fine to this day. Maybe my first one had some sealing flaws but my new one is fine.

I have a floodlight... been debating on whether I should install it on the house wall by the front door aiming outwards toward the front yard, or there's a pillar/column about 8 ft in front of the door that I could attach that light to an aim the light back towards the front door/house... pros and cons either way?

good review except you didn't show how to wire it, I think I can figure it out but still. It's a good deal for $36
