Seeing as that was Jane's first time playing DS3, I feel like one day she'll try it with a controller and end up shouting, "What are you talking about? This is SO EASY!"

That was my favorite part of the vid.
It was funny and also impressive enough watching them try to survive through phase 1. I think I'd have cracked ribs from laughing if he'd gotten him to phase 2 and had to survive that with a Guitar Hero guitar. That said, phase 2 is easier than phase 1 if you stay in close on him and don't bait out the jumping. Mike could have defeated him, maybe, if he'd gotten him to phase 2.
@@SolaScientia I think you're right, especially if he'd had a few more tries, he'd have been golden. Seemed like he was getting the controls down- pretty impressive, actually!

Here's what I like about Duracell ads: they just sell their product. There's no ladies in bikinis amazed some guy is using duracell, or someone's hair blowing back when they slot it in to a voice saying "extreme".
No, they just go "you need batteries and ours last longer."
I mean, Jane's role in that intro was to smile dazzlingly, and 3/4 of the audience probably would have swooned too badly to pay attention to the ad if Andy had been in a bikini...
Do you ever just see the title of a video and immediately just Know that "oh, this is going to be Glorious".
When I was working as a QA tester we had to test xbox games with all the funky controllers because it was a feature that all pheripherics were supposed to be compatible with all games.

@@Stewerrvideos Fender's website helpefully points out that "tremolo" bars actually add vibrato, not tremolo (but then continues to sell them as tremolo bridges anyway), so +1 for whammy bar

Honestly I totally would watch a two hour Livestream of them doing this. As for Guitar Hero I still have a working PS2, original guitar controller and almost all the games so I totally could marathon play them all... If I was motivated to find where I stashed the controller...and the PS2. I do know where the games are though LOL.

Tilt as jump, the literal most importantly button in a platformer, was an interesting choice
I don't understand from Duracell's perspective, why oxbox as the advertisers, but the video was still great so as long as content is still good. Make that dough
well, why the Guitar Hero controller is easy... it's battery powered and having the batteries fail means you stop playing at a bad time.

Whammy bar and tremolo arm are both accepted terms for the bar, btw. Usually whammy bar is associated with Floyd Rose style bridges, and tremolo is associated with vintage style trems, but we use them interchangeably all of the time.

Brilliant! I remember once me and my brother found out the DDR pads worked on normal games too and tried to play on them and quickly gave up, but have always been curious to see if it could be done given an honest try.
