and you can still feel the v6 turbos go around? maybe go to a gp now, because its not like these cars today are quiet by any means. the frequencys the old cars produced where just higher so you would here them for longer.
I like V12 the most. not only because of. a screaming sound. from an engineering point of view, the V12 is the most balanced, revving engine (based on the fact that the cylinders with such an arrangement almost completely compensate for each other's work) with the greatest potential.
@@HankFields-jx4li Okay, that was confusing. I didn't know what they meant by "concept," but realizing the video is from over 5 years ago cleared that up.
Something about the onboards, i dont know exactly what yeah (probably 2020 or 2021), that the formula 1 cars from McLaren have a bit scary sound, mainly the McLaren of Lando Norris, the sound its good and look a bit different from the others.
That "2021" footage is actually from 2017. It's got the old F1 logo, no halo, plus I remember that livery which I was a fan of at the time. It reminded me of strawberry birthday cake.🍓
For me the V10 Ferrari of Michael Schumacher from 2002 was the best sounding F1 car ever.
The best sounding V10 of the era was definitely the BMW on the Williams if not the most successful.
Renault for me. Second Honda, third BMW, then Ferrari.
saw it this year in austria during the legends parade, insane car
Jep, the V10 are so freaking loud.
You could feel these cars go around.

What you're hearing with the V8 is the blown diffusor. It's that gritty sound.
That’s traction control actually, Blown diffusers aren’t a thing until 2010
My bad homie, there’s 2 v8 clips💀
only on the 2011, the 2008's didn't have blown diffuser

But before this... F1 was wild with engine designs! Flat 12, V8, V6, V12, Inline 4 turbo's, H16...
for the V10, listen to the former fastest lap in Monza (2004 or 2005)
it's on official f1 channel
2004 Monza, Montoya BMW Williams
2021 than showing 2017 car😂
It was a concept sound
yeah Perez isnt in Force India/Racing Point/Aston Martin anymore by 21 :D

Showing 2018 before 2017 💀
Nothing comes even close to the V10 era. After that V12 and everything else is just... nah :D
the 2019 wasn't a biturbo......still single turbo, the sound difference is the positioning of the microphones near the west-gate.
Frenando Alonso´s Renault R25 V10 car from 2005 reved up to 19k rpm.

That first clip though, changing the gears like a normal manual car pretty much. Do that and keeping your focus on the driving at those speeds.
rally drivers are still shifting on much tighter tracks while they have to power slide lol
To me V10 is best then V12
I wish there was a sport like this but design is down to driver to so technically what driver is best engineer and driver
Just one word….. unhinged
It’s not a biturbo lol that’s cap, they were testing a different mic setup
The v6 sounds sooooo MID.
V10s best sounding cars ever
Mazda 787b engine sounds even better
Ferrari 90's V12 is the best.
❤❤❤❤❤
