Kars is still able to die if he is completely destroyed or incinerated. The lava would have killed him if he didn't think of that foam-armor stuff to buy him a few minutes to escape. And everyone knows stars are on a completely different level than lava, not only because of the heat but the immense gravity as well.
Not until Joseph discovers that Lisa lisa is his mom(In previous episode he secretlly perved on his mom bathing unaware his Mentor is his also his biological mom). Guess we could say Kars still got the last laugh haha(From then on Joseph stops thinking)

Battle Tendency has one of my favourite endings in JoJo , it has a villain with the power of Gods literally defeated by a protagonist whose abilities include reading the script , running away and performing some of the most badass Deus Ex Machinas.
Kars gets defeated because Joseph reads the manga from the wrong direction.
Same part 2 is epic
Plus, part 2 has the best medicine in the world
Joseph defeating Kars was the biggest asspull (his hand coming from no where and grabbing kars) but it was funny as hell.🤣

Even he could not fathom the sheer void separating him from salvation. By the time he could possibly reach solid ground, all the stars in the sky would have burned out, and entropy would render his home as barren as the void. And yet...he would still exist, still living on as the last of the Pillar Men. The last living thing in all creation. There was no exist from this existence. It would NEVER end.

生きてたのかなって思ったらなんか納得した
でもあんな状況でよく波紋練れたな
カーズが流した波紋を利用したんだよ(適当)。
むしろそうじゃないとおかしい
ただ赤石による波紋増幅だけで
助かったのではなく、
赤石が波紋増幅器であることを
知ってから噴火までのごく僅かな
時間で自分が助かることが出来る程の
波紋を練ったジョセフの「スゴ味」も
あってこその結果という
主人公としての格も落ちない
素晴らしい場面であると思う。
呼吸は止めてたのかな？
カーズの最後ってラスボスの中でもトップクラスにえげつない
ディアボロと大統領よりも悲惨
でも6部で世界が一巡するから宇宙で漂ってたのは80年前後になる。カーズの長い人生？からした意外とすぐ
むしゃおち 一巡するということは宇宙を一度終わらせて、またビックバンあたりから再スタートすることだからいくら究極生命体といえど宇宙規模のエネルギーにはやられると思うよ

正直、ジョジョのラスボスの中でも歴代最強だと思う
