    Cheers mate . You have just given me the answer to my problem with my rc. I have looked for and watched many bids about setting up the carbs , but you are the first to put it into words that I understand . Cheers again .

    Ive watched a lot of your vids mate, your straight too the point, speaking total logic, easy to understand and no nonsense with your information, good too know iam not the only one that thinks ohhhh mate you dont need a temp guage when breaking in your engine lol, as you stated in another video. Your dead right so many people out there possibly with good intentions but i think do scare some people off the hobby. Keep up the excellent work buddy. 👍👍 Iam hoping to get my hobao hyper 7 TQ2 buggy in the summer as iam getting back into the nitros cars again after a hell of a long time, its actually been 30yrs since ive had a nitro car 😂 how time flies 🤣. Love your channel buddy 👍👍

    Literally just commented on one of your more recent videos about a similar problem I’ve been having and this video sorted it. Cheers mate and keep the videos coming. You sound like you don’t live too far from me and it’s mint having someone who explains stuff in the way I would. Makes learning this stuff a peice of piss👌🏻

    Your camera is focusing remarkably well. Your lighting and the overall video quality is great. Even the views of the slide in the carburetor were quite clear. Nice little presentation for someone starting out.

      Thanks mate for show the setting up the tick over. This seems to be all Greek to me. I’ve only recently done my hobao hyper 7 out and been trying to start it up and messing around with all the settings so I think I’ve put it back to factory settings and we’ll have another attempt to start it up then I can tune it. But definitely looking into getting the kyosho mp9 in a few weeks. Keep up the great work Legend 👍🏼

    Hi haggard, I have a 3.5 savage in my loft because I've always had trouble with setting it, I bought it second hand so I dont know what past its had running in ect! The car itself is immaculate condition so I dont think its had alot of running time, I was going to sell it but now I think I'm going to get it going with watching you're videos, could you tell me what fuel is best to use and percentage, or can I use any old fuel? Cheers

    Hi Haggard,
    What glow plugs did you use to run your old traxxas nitro sport as I am getting one and don't know what to use? Thanks, Sam

    so you guys call idle, tick over? dont mind my american ignorance, what would you look at if your throttle sticks, like it wont fully return to the proper tick speed. mine seems to get stuck at like 1/3rd throttle. the only way to keep it idling/ticking over right is to hold my brake in which i have set to slightly pull the carb linkage so it stays shut.

    • @HaggardRC
      @HaggardRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Morning Joe, the reason we call it tick over goes back to the 1920’s and 1930’s because the old petrol engines used to tick when they were idling so it became known as ticking over, and tick over. Some engines still do tick when on idle. So, when an is idling it’s just known here as ticking over. Regardless of the type.
      As for your problem that sounds like either your trim is set wrong on the transmitter or your servo horn needs to be moved around a bit so that the throttle closes all the way.

      @Lawrence Timme I really don't want to sound a jerk but you won't learn from this channel (Haggard RC) . He is very wealthy he says and he is in my opinion a entertainer. Another opinion is that he's fun lovin but destroys RC cars just for kicks. Each to his own and I'm sure it's loads of fun. I actually think he is pretty knowledgeable but maybe not a serious Teaching type channel. No disrespect intended. Now if you are serious about learning more about your Kyosho inferno mp9 tki4 nitro there's plenty of Rc guys who have one who will be interested in helping you out if needed. I myself have a 2018 addition Kyosho Inferno mp9 tki4 nitro with a swapped out engine to A .28 ALPHA PLUS RACE SPEC T850 5 PORT COMBO includes the Engine, pipe. Header and Venturies. Also added a ALPHA race spec clutch and a 14 tooth clutch bell. Before installation of the more power full engine I ensured all my diffs were good and changed oil weights to protect and perform to my liking to get more power to the ground without just wheel spinning around feeling fast but being actually slower. Also set up all the shocks and shock oil weights ( I've had many people asking full details of all adjustments Inc Endpoints for steering /brakes, camber /toe, ride height and droop, shock rebound etc. These all play a vital part of the overall performance of the Buggy and the way it performs etc. I run with the exact Engine tune. but this may change due to weather /hot and cold. I believe with practice and asking for advice then the best way is the self taught way. Along side asking questions and watching guys with the exact Buggy. I've never raced and don't intend to. But I maintain my Rc's and always check over them for potential issues then re check all my adjustments for next time out. I'm certainly no pro but with 10 years experience with Nitro Rc on and off I'm more than happy to help or just answer your questions. You have purchased a great RC buggy and once run in properly and the Buggy set right to handle you will be impressed with the power and handling of the Kyosho mp9 tki4. They are plenty fast enough stock but accommodate modifications reasonably easily. They have easy to obtain spares and a wide range of tyres for any application. Enjoy your Rc and be patient, run it in properly, set up the oil weights both diffs and suspension and suspension rebound, Set up cambers, toe ride height and droop.( Steering, throttle and brake Endpoints are set by the Transmitter.) so read the manual how to. Any questions don't hesitate to give me a message. Cheers mate Enjoy your Rc Hobby but please never run it with the body off (unless on short grass while tuning) because ide hate for you to scratch up that cooling head. If your worried about temperatures. Make some strategic openings in the body and on a hot day or any day try getting your tune to love rich and as long as you can see a little trail smoke from your exhaust when you're on it it should be fine and stay in safe temperature range. Smoke = un burnt oil = lubrication = cooler running temperatures. Feel free to use my youtube channel to ask a question or get some help if you get stuck on some thing. Or need help with your Tuning. Either me or any one who you think will help you out. But YOU WON'T FIND LEGITE HELP ON HAGGARD RC. I've no doubt that he is very knowledgeable but I believe from watching his channel it's more entertaining than anything else.. Good luck mate....

I think 3 times I said no disrespect to HAGGARD I've watched him plenty Mr grim reaper surely without disrespect TO HAGGARD you wouldn't send someone to get more direct teaching of the 1/8 scale nitro hobby to his channel.
