I had a V11 for about 10 seconds and then had to send it back bc of the battery charging problem. I went with the V11Y after having an S22, Nikola, Sherman OG, and Sherman S. It's nice to know it is water "proof" so I don't mind riding it in the rain (which I have and had no problems), riding it around the city it has plenty of speed and the suspension while not the best is adequate. Nice and light. Has good looks (rather than just bland black like the V11). I'm toying around with different pads rn. I would recommend this to anyone from advanced riders to newbies. It's had no problems. Highly recommended. Thanks for the video!
Currently have the S16 Pro but I'm kinda missing my old V11. One thing that the V11 had going for it is the slim design which made handling it effortless. Right now the V11y is on sale for $1900, making it a seriously tempting buy!
I am in the market for my first EUC, I was about to buy the S16 until I saw the v11y on sale! Can you expand a bit on what you like or dislike on them, I am a new rider on the heavy side.
@@MC-ny7iw For a heavier rider, the S16 Pro has the advantage of having more torque. It's got a 3000w motor and 50s battery compared to the V11y's weaker 2500w motor and 50e/gb batteries. The S16 looks like it'll be easier to work on than the V11 which is criticized for the amount of work needed to change the tire. The S16 is more compact and easier to put in a trunk. I also owned the V11 and, in its favor, I feel the V11 does have a noticeably higher build quality and more stable ride due to the larger 18" wheel and narrow side profile. Ergonomics is also better on the V11. The V11 has been around longer with more aftermarket stuff for it. At the current sale price of $1900 I think the V11y is the better buy. At the end of the day, both are great and you won't go wrong flipping a coin on one or the other. Hope this helps.
Zen you've come a long way since your original V11 review when I started watching you. Back then you weren't even sure if you wanted to be a 'TH-camr'. 18k+ subs later and I'd say you've succeeded - congrats man.
Honestly might get this one next. Ty gor your video on it. The trails here have a huge drop off so I want to be nimble but still stable and sturdy. I think this would be a perfect next step.
I would honestly like a suspension delete option. Have a replacement bolt-on covering for the saddle and have the pedals fixed low at ~6” or 150mm-ish. That would appeal to me as an 18XL commuter just looking for a wider rim and a kickstand
I also wiped out on my electric longboard recently and am editing that video together... i swear i jusy found your channel now, so when you see another Zen come out with some riding content, lets be friends haha
i don't like that none of the wheels have any mud clearance, it limits them to fair weather riding or arid climates. i suppose you can fit an 18x2.5" tyre on it for 12 more millimetres of clearance, better than nothing
The first two suspension wheels came out around the same time. To this day, I still think one is the ugliest EUC ever, while the other one is the most beautiful.
I think that both are as ugly as the other and above all outdated ^^ You have to stop with the old V11 and S18 you have to stop, stop, stop, stooooppppp
@@ZenLee thanks man still loving your videos and I've had my eye on this wheel. I had meniscus surgery in January so when I'm ready to ride I don't want to have a heavy wheel again but everything's on the right track thanks much for asking.

Managed to pull max speed on S16 Pro? They say it's 60km/h
I've not ridden the pro yet, but 60km sounds right

... Hey,, Oneride, that's where I got my (OLD) V11 from, lol,, about a year ago,, I love it!!! (still,, lol)
Rode the original V11 for 3 years til it died. Its only fitting i get the Y. On a Sherman S now but miss the lightweight V11.
love your videos!
Glad you like them!
So awesome thanks for sharing !
You bet!
Is the suspension updated or just a new color
I have V11, but S16 is a new EUC, modern, have sound. It's a little more fat and weight a little more too

Was that back thing beside the patron and the Kingsong V16 a 50s Inmotion V14? Can we get a comparison between the 50S and the 50GB?
I was thinking about buying the V14 50S. I'm not sure I can do a comparison as those models are for sell.
Oneride yeaaa 👍
Why did they keep this type of suspension....
don't you have to disassemble the top to add air to the upper chambers, or is that no longer a thing?
Still Thing but you can attach aftermarket angled valves so you don't have to
Would the Inmotion V11 power pads work well on the V11Y? If not then which ones do I get? Tnx.
it's a good question, I'm not sure
The gap between the EUC and the fairing increased ?? Looks like way more than my V11 🤔🤔
yes, way more! looks kinda funny imo

Let's do it, my instagram used to be ZenLeeGaming lol
@@ZenLee thats awesome dude haha cheers, keep it up man
Does it still use LG batteries?
EWheels says they use modern Samsung batteries. Not sure which ones but they're much better and safer
2:20 the exact same thing happened to me ! 😂
lol, they didn't seal the backside!
Oops... maybe you did damage your charger 😱😱
Can the orange across the body be peeled off?
No but you can paint over it
LOL 🤣

I'm V11 owner and I'm looking for T4 pro, V11 is too weak
slight update..no extra torque...suspension is crap
