The new parfum is actually amazing. If you already have the the edt and edp. It my be redundant but if you can afford it why not grab it? Also the Ralphs club parfum will most certainly be my next RL purchase it's incredible imo.
I am not a "cologne guy", not spending much on it or doing much research, but RL red was the first and one of the only scents that ever really stuck out to me. Love the scent, always will.

I have Polo Red Intense..man it is wonderful, compliment getter...a perfect frag for cold weather and evening. perfect for dates, dinner or clubbing. Longevity is good around 6 hours, projection is strong.
Have you done a full polo list? Similar to Versace and some other houses? I'd love to see that.

This fragrance started me on my fragrance collection journey. I still love it to this day. I understand the performance isn't great but I have no problem just reapplying it throughout the day. I actually have all of the polo red flankers. My favorite being polo red intense.
My first RL frag, I'm getting another one soon for sure.

Where did you find polo red extreme it's been discontinued a long time? Or did you pay the mark up price on eBay?

Ended up getting a bottle of Red Intense when it randomly popped up on a discounter a few months back. I remembered thinking it was great several years ago. Ended up selling it on eBay a few days later because it smells really dated.
I just received my Polo Red edp today and I must say I like the Polo Red edt so much better
I love polo red. I rank it at my number 5 while my wife ranks it at number 4. I'm a big polo fan. I do not have the polo red intense but I do have the polo red extreme which is incredible!
I love extreme flanker that caramel coffee note it is 😋 delicious.
I’m glad I grabbed the Intense and Extreme a year back 😅 hopefully Red Parfum can compete with those 2
Polo Big pony #4 for men is amazing. It's has Mandarin orange 🍊 and grapefruit with hint of kyara wood oud. It was actually great stuff.
Today is my son's b-day. Valentines baby, a few years ago I bought P. Red he liked it fine. This year I went upscale some-Montal Spice and Wood.

I wear Polo Red in winter under my warm jacket. It performs well when it warms up under a warm coat. The scent picks up when warm, pulling off a ski jacket at lunch, and mellows out as it cools down.
do you think its worth buying in 2023?
I already have victor Rolf infrared . Debating Red intense or perhaps extreme ? Would you recommend?

So much youtuber variance in the opinion of which Polo Red version is the best version. Most agree that you can’t really go wrong with any of the reds. With the exception mayyybe of the newest parfum. I’ve seen some not so favorable reviews of that one. The rest of them though (EDT, Rush, EDP, Extreme, and Intense) are basically a dart throw and you have a really nice fall frag.
Red Intense was the first RL that I added to flank the tried and true Green standard. It was my everyday spray until it disappeared. Huge disappointment, but ultimately allowed me to try Deep Blue Parfum. That's a different but equally satisfying option. Agree with you, Ash - if you find it at fair price, buy it!
FYI the PR Intense dupe from Musk and Hustle is incredible.
I had polo red when I was 17, so I would say get the original if you want to get started on the collection.

Polo Red despite being only a decade old seems like it was the first introduction to fragrances for a lot of younger guys, including myself. I was in middle school when I had gotten a polo discovery set which had red in it. Later on I also got a full bottle, which was probably the first full bottle I ever had to myself. I had smelled fragrances before but this was definitely the first time that I really made something my signature scent. For that reason I think i'll always love it. Hopefully the new parfum is good, but if it turns out not to be I'd really want to track down the discontinued flankers at some point so I can experience the full extent of the DNA, especially with the newer perspective I have on fragrances as a whole all these years later.
I am in the same boat, but I was in uni. When I was younger, I was on the Axe hype train, and through cologne was just too pricey and pointless. Red changed my mind on that.
This is a tough one since RL has released so many bangers. Polo Blue gold blend and Ralph’s Club Parfum are my faves so far. Ever since I dropped Blue EDT I haven’t turned back to RL scents until recently. Didn’t like the Deep Blue release after getting it in, but it looks like the public seems to love the heck out of that one.
I just recently got Gold Blend (since its beginning discontinued) so I have all the recent Polo Blues including the Parfum. I'd say Deep Blue is my favorite over Gold blend due to performance. It's the best performing of all Polo Blues IMO.
Any suggestions on a similar clone to black bottle of polo extreme red ash?... i really love that fagrence 😊

After watching 100 reaction videos women seem to unanimously like Polo Red EDT more than other fragrances. I would never ditch a great smelling fragrance because of longevity to go with a worse smelling fragrance that lasts longer. Makes no sense, just spray the best smelling fragrance more often.

I think in the entire line the cranberry has a medicinal quality that I can’t get pass. I’m interested in smelling the Parfum though.

But the EDP is just better at this point…. Extreme and Intense are awesome as well, better in fact… if you can find them for a good price

Would owning polo red and polo red intense be redundant?
I've been trying to find either of the flankers for Polo Red, because I want more coffee note scents that perform well. Cannot find either anywhere except Ebay for way too much. I don't really want to order the Armaf Q clone without the cranberry, but it might be my onlyl options at this point.

The Eau de Parfume version I bought a 200 ml bottle from Macy's and find that the recipe seems to have been watered down
Unfortunately my bottle of red was the first i got and its been stored in my car. It’s definitely broken down now but has become interesting in its own way

What is it with all the sweet sugary smelling men's fragrances? I personally don't like sweet smelling colognes but it could be my body chemistry because many fragrances that aren't even known for being overtly sweet turn nauseously sweet on me. The worst part is sweet fragrances give me a headache. I'm curious if anyone reading this comment and watching this video ever tried Este Lauder Metropolis. Macys was the only place that kept it. I found it to be a great cologne for me but I'm fairly certain it was discontinued unfortunately.

yeah it makes me so jealous hearing about people literally buying extreme for $40 meanwhile the cheapest one you can find now is $130
Just got myself a 200ml partially used bottle of Ralph Lauren Intense for around $60 USD. Facebook marketplace has some gems mixed in with junk and junkies lol.
Red Extreme has proven to be harder to find, and more expensive.

I scored my bottle of Intense at a rack store… 75ml / $40…
Opening is somewhat important but I wouldn't buy a frag based on that since it disappears in a few minutes. It took me a long time to get into fragrances but I didn't know about the top, middle, and base. I used to buy them based on the top and then when I wore them I'd hate them and feel ripped off. For me Cool Water is an example of this. Anyway I buy for the middle and the base NOT the top. I prefer to put up with a top that I don't love last for a short while then luxuriate in the magic for hours. The top. is a bit of a con job meant to grab people testing frags at the store that don't know better.

Red EDT still the best scent among all other flankers. Unfortunatly, the longevity is indeed it's weakness. I try Extreme, it's good but still prefer the EDT smell. If only they could have the exact smell and add longevity to EDT...

Polo red last about 2 hours max, want the extreme but it's out of stock everywhere n I don't wanna overpay for a Polo... especially for the performance

Polo red extreme on eBay goes for $130-250 USD....don't really see it anywhere else...a store in my country has one... equivalent to $125 USD

Not because of the scent, but because of the horrifying longetivity
It literally lasts like 30 minutes in you...which pales in comparison to stuff like 1 Million and Eros
