Actually, looking into it, I think you're right! There are also some straight-up NASA versions. Now I'm wondering if it's worth it to search around for some NASA U-2 decals
Thank you for your kind words! What did you end up grabbing instead? If you do go back and get it later, definitely let me know how the build does for you!!!
@@fenrismodels I actually picked up a PM Model "White Swans" F-86E Sabre. After seeing this unboxing though I definitely want to go back and buy the U-2!
@@fenrismodels If you're looking for a simple quickly built Sabre then try and get the PM Model F-86E - it's not very detailed but looks like it's going to be a nice build
The fluorescent orange one is definitely interesting but I wish they gave context for the schemes I've had a quick look and it from Edwards afb flight test centre in the early 60s :)
Oh, nice! Thanks for the reference! Yeah, usually you get at least a little blurb as to what the scheme is, even in HobbyBoss kits; not sure why they didn't include anything in this one.
My vote is for red and green like a dragon 🐉
Oooooh.... now I'm tempted to do a scratch-built something....
Looks like an interesting kit. The history of the NACA versions is quite fascinating to me.

the usaf orange scheme is the best in my books
Of the three, I agree!!!
The paint scheme you are considering was from the US Airforce test flight center. Very cool paint scheme.
Awesome, thanks for the heads up! I figured it had to be something like that, that bright orange usually is trainers of some type.
Dear Fenris,
The orange looks like a good one to go for- mind you , at 70,000 feet, no one will know!!

Z
Haha that's true!
I vote for Pink...
I vote pink too
Oh my god you guys 😂
@@scalemodelsnail why nothing wrong with pink on this lol
@@WayneWelly Idk I’m just not particularly fond of pink. It reminds me of Barbie.
Haha maybe if I grab a second one; for my first, I want it to be a relatively believable scheme....
I saw this kit at my local model shop earlier today! Was considering buying it but chose something else. Keep the good videos up!

@@Shipnerd194 Very nice! I still need to build a Sabre, maybe that'll be one of my next purchases....

Do the colourful one!
I agree! Colorful is always fun. I really need to get my hands on some of that Hataka orange I think if I'm gonna start doing some orange planes.

Ooooh, nice choice! ;)
