Jiu and Siyeon have been roommates since they joined the company so they are close friends. Siyeon was really a baby when she joined the company and I think Jiu was assigned as her roommate to look after her. Sua got Yoohyeon as a roommate for the same reason, and Dami got a single room as soon as one was available because she never needed looking after. You don't need to explain your bias situation. I think it's impossible to have just one bias with Dreamcatcher because they are all so exceptional each in their own way.
I am pretty sure Sua was the last person to join hfe and Yoohyeon joined long before her, the rooming situation seems random and Dami was always a baby with Singji and often slept in Siyeon's bed with her. I really don't think the roommates were decided on anyone needing to be cared for.
JiU laughing is just healing. Should publish an album, I'd listen to it so much... Also, I think JiU, like most mothers, just lets kids clamber over her, with tons of affection. She gets pinched, squeezed, licked, bitten, drooled over (oh wait, that last one might be me), and just patiently and benevolently suffers through it, letting her children play. :D
Singji. Iirc Siyeon Jiu and Dami were rooming together for several years. Its adorable because Siyeon becomes a baby with Jiu and Dami is a baby with both but especially so with Siyeon (Dami is openly physically affectionate with Siyeon even kissing her cheek TWICE on camera). There are so many old clips of singji together, they're precious. Even in minx Jiu was so fond of Siyeon its adorable.

Handong is my ult. For a while, Gahyun and SuA were also biases. Then I saw them live and I love them all at least the amount I love gah and SuA so now I'm back to just having an ult, because I can't have an ult and 6 biases.
There's nothing icy about Handong and all the members do love her. Since she isn't Korean she gets away with saying things and making facial expressions that the Korean girls can't. Sarcasm is basically forbidden in Korea and Handong uses it a lot. I think the other members really find her refreshing because of her sense of humor and that she breaks social boundaries with them. When Yoohyeon tries to get the older members to call her unnie or talk informally she either gets scolded (by Sua) or receives a funny look. When Handong does it they just laugh and do what she wants.
