Thanks for the video, Chris (& whoever put it up from mute) I've sold a handful of pedals in the last few years and it's swings & roundabouts. Whilst you gain space and some cash to put forward to the next project, you also lose the immediacy of response & feedback from the hardware and the sonics in terms of audio results & responses . Of course it can all be replicated in software via abelton and others to a large degree , but there's a 'je ne sais quoi' or 'x factor' that dedicated hardware brings to the fore , which cannot be easily replicated. I think it's the FEEL and slight UNPREDICTABILITY of the choices you can make, which is mostly satisfying. In any event, have fun no matter what course of action you take 👍
So calm! I'd say keep the pedals. Maybe just change the order. It is nice that you have them in a fixed sequence at the moment though. Limits and restricts options which is always a good thing in my opinion!
Oh man, those decisions are always hard. On the one hand you have equipment that you don't necessarily use any more that could be used and loved by another musician. On the other - the sounds they make! Dear god the sounds.
I replicated Chris's configuration of pedal channels and it worked out expensive and not as good as what I previously had..Sold most 'em but it was an interesting lesson for me.
There is no one like him, I am lucky to have seen Chris and Cosey play in the 80's.

Christ Carter was arguably the most sane member of TG. And definitely the most technically skilled!
Just connect each pedal to a patchbay and you have a modular system 😃

Oh man
I wanted hear the third channel.
Amazing what he played.
There’s a lot of people that get a lot more notice that don’t touch his amazingness
They don’t touch his amazingness.

Great video. So, what did you eventually do, Chris?
A constant inspiration. Thanks Chris.
Also try the obne signal blender and the fabrikat matrise
Omg if you sell it, I'll definitely buy it, but I have high hopes that you can reconfigure it.
I love your work, love TG with an immense passion.
....put it in a patch bay set-up Chris and create a modular Stompisizer
Wow! What a pedal board!
Surely you could wire up a patch bay, even if you had to DIY a new case/enclosure and ditch the pedal board.
Definitely stick with your set up!!!!! Don’t change - you are leading this pack! Play with the new stuff but lead with your own!
"love the metalizer" KING
