I'm glad someone thinks of the 1st wanyk mask as highly as I do. honestly and to no surprise, I didn't like the balloon cheeks but the overall concept and look of the fixed version is just cool as hell, especially with some sic edits on a few photos
Corey's Vol 3 mask is my favourite, cause that was the era that introduced me to Slipknot (Before I Forget is a song on the Motorstorm soundtrack), so that mask has the most sentimental value for me. Plus I love the aesthetic of the mask. It's ugly and gross, but in the absolute best way, in my opinion. :)
The Left Behind and Disasterpieces one are my all-time favorites. I discovered them through the Disasterpieces DVD, back in 2002, and ever since that evil look of that mask has stuck with me.
Gotta say I love the All Hope Is Gone Corey mask. I understand that it was used for six years and people got tired of seeing it, but I was 8 in 2008 and I remember seeing the All Hope Is Gone CD in stores around that time, looking at the album cover and seeing them all standing in the weeds. then seeing Corey in the middle and me just being like “wtf am I looking at” and then it all made sense once I heard it
As a younger fan, I really have a lot of my good ol slipknot memories connected to Corey’s all hope is gone mask. Even though we saw a shit ton of it, it has a special place in my heart. Seeing Corey go back to that AHIGish mask with his new one along with the cool outfit he wears that reminds me of that badass converse wearing download 2009 Corey makes me so happy but I can understand why people wouldn’t like it as much as other masks like Iowa or vol 3 or self tilted.
My ranking at 10- the memorial show dummy it looks so goofy 9- The Gray Chapter v1 mask I just never really liked it, the v2 was definitely way more cooler to me so this just gets pushed down 8- The Gray Chapter v2, honestly from here I just like them all, I really like this one looks really sic to me, I think the shape of the mask made some of the pics out there of this mask look really cool 7- All Hope Is Gone mask, I completely see y people hate it, me personally I liked it especially after he grew his hair out a bit more, it added to the mask, is it simple, yes, but to me it kinda worked for the mask in a weird way 6- We Are Not Your Kind v2 I absolutely love it and from here on out I really love the masks and idea of them, the mask looked really awesome to me and with weathering I think it will look even more sic, it looks like a rag doll came to life or a killer wearing a doll like mask 5- Iowa, okay this might be a bit of an unpopular opinion/ranking, I love the mask but I just liked the other masks a bit more, just a bit more lol 4- We Are Not Your Kind v1, after the stitches, all the face paints looked so cool, it constantly changing was awesome to see, I was looking forward to see what new paint job he did after each concert 3- Vol 3, I really liked the mask it look like a burn victim that was also stitched up back together, and the hair also helps and adds to the mask 2- the dummy, I absolutely love the mask, it looks awesome in the Wait and Bleed music video 1- Ghost Glow, it is my absolute favorite Corey mask, it looks so sic to me and the dreads looked cool on the mask, and after seeing what a normal ghost glow mask looked like I thought it was so cool how much he changed it for himself

Self-title dummy mask will always be my favorite Corey mask, the dummy mask is what caught my attention and getting into Slipknot especially watching the Wait and Bleed and Spit It Out music video with the dummy mask.

Definitely a very fair ranking. Though, if it was me, I would put Coreys current mask a bit higher in the list. For me, it does have that Slipknot feel to it despite definitely having a horror movie aesthetic.
I understand why you have wanyk at 3. My favorite thing about it was his changing face paint too. Id have that at number 2 in my list, but the stitch one. One thing about wanyk that has nothing to do with Cory, is sids whole get up. His mask is cool, but I can't wait until he decides to change his style. I would like to see his wanyk mask with a boiler suit. Anything but that coat and hood.
I definately agree on many points but my favorite will always and forever be corey's vol. 3 mask. It represents so well the change in his vocal style from the guttural low screams of Iowa to the high pitched weird melodic screeches he does on vol.3! It really sounds like his face has been ripped open and his voice transformed to a completely new universe of sound. I read somewhere it might have had to do with injuries from his days of drinking too much and not being aware of actually damaging his voice when screaming so he had to find a new way to perform the vocals, but the change in his voice from Iowa to Vol. 3 is imminent. Also he never went back to that style of singing really ever after that. Vol. 3 is such a unique period musically for the band, I could write a novel here about vol. 3 cause that was the first Slipknot record I heard when I was 8 years old... Man it's been a while on this... Well hope you have the time to read this, always fun to chat with fellow fans of (any) band that you're into this much... I have to agree with you on the ghost glow being the most slipknot and grotesque. It's It's look that got me into them and what made me the fan I am today. It's also the reason I got the ghost glow mask at inkcarceration a few weeks ago. I wore that thing with pride and now have it proudly displayed on my shelf. A day I will definitely not forget! I got to meet you (AJ Good) got a kick ass mask,and got to see slipknot again

I’m a huge fan of the we are not your kind V1 mask, I loved the different face paints and stuff. If I had to choose my least favorite it would be the gray chapter mask.
I totally agree about the patches of black greasy hair! I think it could even be taken further since theres no eyebrows but because it's so symmetrical you can see where the eyebrows would be. I think he could mess around with different eyebrow expressions with somehow putting interchangeable eyebrow on it, change it every show ya know

7. Gray chapter - I just looked really weird and kinda dumb 6. We are not your kind - I liked the face paint but I wanted a lot more with it 5. Subliminal verses - I like the concept but it looked store bought and plastic like 4. All hope is gone - it reminds me a lot of the dummy and Iowa mask but the lack of detail in it I did not like 3. The end so far - I love this mask it looks really cool but the refine proper look it has does not make me think of slipknot 2. Slipknot - I love this mask it looks super cool and it really shows who Cory was at the time but it just needed something more 1. Iowa - I love this mask did not stray too far from slipknot and I love the panda paint job on it it looked really cool and Creepy at the same time would not have it any other way 10/10
My personal favorite is his mask from Vol.3. I am a big horror movie fan, and the mask reminds me of leatherface, who is probably my favorite horror movie characters of all time. Great video as always!
It’s kinda hard for me to pick a favorite just because I pretty much love all of Corey’s masks except for the Sonisphere Dummy and both versions of the .5 Mask. Those masks make me wanna die every time I see them. All the others are cool though. I completely get your ranking AJ
1. All Hope Is Gone: This mask for me was very special since it was the first thing I ever saw when I was introduced to Slipknot. The overall aesthetic of the mask is something that I'm in love with. The simplicity of it gave me a feeling of emptiness, that at the time, I could really relate to. 2. WANYK V2: This mask is almost #1 for me especially since it was debuted in my home state of Oklahoma! I love everything about this mask from the weird eyes, to the crease in the head to make it look like a skull! It's just an overall badass mask and it's going to be the first mask I see in person when I get to go see Slipknot live for the first time this October!!! 3. Ghost Glow: This mask took what the Dummy was and improved it by a thousand percent! The dreads were cool, the mask was intimidating, and the fact that that you could barely see the eyes really sell it. One thing that I love in these masks is when you can remove the human element, and not seeing then eyes really helps you to see Corey as some kind of damaged beast when he's on stage. 4. The Dummy: It's a classic! You can't hate this mask! The overall design was creative and the execution was nearly perfect. If it weren't for the Ghost Glow, this design would be higher. 5. Iowa: I love the Iowa mask but I just feel like in comparison to the other dreaded masks, it definitely falls short. I felt like the mouth and eyeholes were just far too big and it kinda gave Corey this weird comical look whereas I feel like it should have been more intimidating. Not scary, intimidating. 6. WANYK V1: I love this mask to death and although the debut sucked, it really rocks once you see the improvements! 7. Gray Chapter V2: A definite improvement to the previous mask but pretty lackluster. 8. Gray Chapter V1: I certainly don't dislike this mask but I don't like it. Before Corey removes the face cover I think it's kinda cool but once he reveals the strange blue underbelly, I can't help but think it looks stupid. 9. Vol. 3: I was never a huge fan of this mask. I always thought it was just boring and never fun to look at. Not to mention at the time, Corey's scream was in my opinion one of the worst states it has ever been. 10: The Dummy Remake: It fucking sucks.
I absolutely love Corey’s Gray Chapter mask, it’s one of my favourite Slipknot masks, it’s not the greatest, but I just love the concept of having two masks in one, and the inner mask is a neat idea. I even have a replica of Corey’s gray chapter mask, sadly it doesn’t have the inner mask feature but I’m glad that I still own it one way or another because personally, I love the mask.
Mine is definitely the regular AHIG mask. I think this is because the very first time I looked up Slipknot out of curiosity, this is the mask Corey was wearing. I really, really do like the piece, as well. My new 2nd favorite, is the one that was my 2nd LEAST favorite before I watched this video. That mask being the WANYK mask. I didn't realize how absolutely awesome it is, allowing Corey to change his face paint underneath. I didn't realize that was what was going on with this particular mask, so again....thank you A.J. for educating me on this stuff. After that, sadly to me, all of the dreads masks come in last for me. I just don't get the feel of that look for one of the greatest, heaviest, and most intense bands of all-time. Those are the only ones I can rank, as they are my top 2 favorites in order, and the group that is my least favorites. The rest of them are interchangeable in the middle of my list. Thanks for such an awesome channel, my friend. As I have said before, I am not a mask guy at all, but because of the guy himself, and true inspiration from your channel, I am going start collecting all of the V-Man stuff I can get my hands on. I am currently at zero items, so hopefully I can grow that collection along with the other things I collect. I can't bring myself to say I hate you, so I will just say you are awesome, and thanks for the inspiration.

@@TheHouseOfMasks I largely agree with that, and I think all of your opinions are totally justified. There are some situations where someone can look at something and just immediately feel a certain way without fully knowing why, but generally its better to be able to justify an opinion.
Gotta agree with you, the masks during the self titled album and Iowa album are definitely the best. I'd say Corey's WANYK album masks are probably close behind though, I did enjoy those.

I’m a huge fan of the we are not your kind V1 mask, I loved the different face paints and stuff. If I had to choose my least favorite it would be the gray chapter mask.
I totally agree about the patches of black greasy hair! I think it could even be taken further since theres no eyebrows but because it's so symmetrical you can see where the eyebrows would be. I think he could mess around with different eyebrow expressions with somehow putting interchangeable eyebrow on it, change it every show ya know

I like the newest mask the most, it looks the cleanest and I think it fits him well
My personal favorite is his mask from Vol.3. I am a big horror movie fan, and the mask reminds me of leatherface, who is probably my favorite horror movie characters of all time. Great video as always!
my favorite is definitely ahig. He just looks so perfect in it. I think it's because I really got into slipknot with ahig, so I'm biased, but yeah
It’s kinda hard for me to pick a favorite just because I pretty much love all of Corey’s masks except for the Sonisphere Dummy and both versions of the .5 Mask. Those masks make me wanna die every time I see them. All the others are cool though. I completely get your ranking AJ
1. All Hope Is Gone: This mask for me was very special since it was the first thing I ever saw when I was introduced to Slipknot. The overall aesthetic of the mask is something that I'm in love with. The simplicity of it gave me a feeling of emptiness, that at the time, I could really relate to.
2. WANYK V2: This mask is almost #1 for me especially since it was debuted in my home state of Oklahoma! I love everything about this mask from the weird eyes, to the crease in the head to make it look like a skull! It's just an overall badass mask and it's going to be the first mask I see in person when I get to go see Slipknot live for the first time this October!!!
3. Ghost Glow: This mask took what the Dummy was and improved it by a thousand percent! The dreads were cool, the mask was intimidating, and the fact that that you could barely see the eyes really sell it. One thing that I love in these masks is when you can remove the human element, and not seeing then eyes really helps you to see Corey as some kind of damaged beast when he's on stage.
4. The Dummy: It's a classic! You can't hate this mask! The overall design was creative and the execution was nearly perfect. If it weren't for the Ghost Glow, this design would be higher.
5. Iowa: I love the Iowa mask but I just feel like in comparison to the other dreaded masks, it definitely falls short. I felt like the mouth and eyeholes were just far too big and it kinda gave Corey this weird comical look whereas I feel like it should have been more intimidating. Not scary, intimidating.
6. WANYK V1: I love this mask to death and although the debut sucked, it really rocks once you see the improvements!
7. Gray Chapter V2: A definite improvement to the previous mask but pretty lackluster.
8. Gray Chapter V1: I certainly don't dislike this mask but I don't like it. Before Corey removes the face cover I think it's kinda cool but once he reveals the strange blue underbelly, I can't help but think it looks stupid.
9. Vol. 3: I was never a huge fan of this mask. I always thought it was just boring and never fun to look at. Not to mention at the time, Corey's scream was in my opinion one of the worst states it has ever been.
10: The Dummy Remake: It fucking sucks.

I absolutely love Corey’s Gray Chapter mask, it’s one of my favourite Slipknot masks, it’s not the greatest, but I just love the concept of having two masks in one, and the inner mask is a neat idea. I even have a replica of Corey’s gray chapter mask, sadly it doesn’t have the inner mask feature but I’m glad that I still own it one way or another because personally, I love the mask.
This concept would definitely be a bad ass short series.
Mine is definitely the regular AHIG mask. I think this is because the very first time I looked up Slipknot out of curiosity, this is the mask Corey was wearing. I really, really do like the piece, as well.
My new 2nd favorite, is the one that was my 2nd LEAST favorite before I watched this video. That mask being the WANYK mask. I didn't realize how absolutely awesome it is, allowing Corey to change his face paint underneath. I didn't realize that was what was going on with this particular mask, so again....thank you A.J. for educating me on this stuff.
After that, sadly to me, all of the dreads masks come in last for me. I just don't get the feel of that look for one of the greatest, heaviest, and most intense bands of all-time.
Those are the only ones I can rank, as they are my top 2 favorites in order, and the group that is my least favorites. The rest of them are interchangeable in the middle of my list.
Thanks for such an awesome channel, my friend. As I have said before, I am not a mask guy at all, but because of the guy himself, and true inspiration from your channel, I am going start collecting all of the V-Man stuff I can get my hands on. I am currently at zero items, so hopefully I can grow that collection along with the other things I collect.
I can't bring myself to say I hate you, so I will just say you are awesome, and thanks for the inspiration.

honestly started listening to slipknot a bit before releasing wanyk but I love the darkness the iowa mask brought and energy it had during that era

But yeah, great video. I expected to disagree with it and yeah, I did. But lets be real, there is not fun in life if everyone has the same opinion.
I think as long as people can give logical reasoning behind their opinions, then an opinion is valid. Technically someone can just say “I like this one better” for no reason, but screw that, we’re smarter and better than that, I like to know why! I hope the reasoning I provided for my choices was at least enough to suffice the intelligent people who watch my videos, haha.
@@TheHouseOfMasks I largely agree with that, and I think all of your opinions are totally justified. There are some situations where someone can look at something and just immediately feel a certain way without fully knowing why, but generally its better to be able to justify an opinion.

Gotta agree with you, the masks during the self titled album and Iowa album are definitely the best. I'd say Corey's WANYK album masks are probably close behind though, I did enjoy those.

I like the changes you would make to the WANYK V2 mask. I agree that it would look more like a slipknot mask with those changes
Also would be cool if you got a version of WANYK v2 and customized it to what you think it should look like
Vol3 and Iowa are my favorite. The reason vol3 for me is Duality. The song that got me hooked.
I saw Slipknot at Riot Fest this year and Corey's WANYK V2 mask looked epic on stage tbh
