Watching the preparations is so exciting and to have Curtis’ mother give instruction so that he and his sister could actually learn by doing was great. I really enjoy the Curly Cooper families. So much fun hearing about what mom did back in her days was hilarious.
Food looks delicious! I’m African American, but learned German when I was in 7th grade. Then I continued through 12th grade, college, tutored German, and studied at the University of Braunschweig. I would love to make some of those dishes. So, yes, please pass along recipes. Love your family!💕
One of my residents (I work in Memory Care/Assisted Living) was born and raised in Germany and had been in Tennessee the last 45 years. Curtis' mom has the perfect German accent mixed with a southern drawl just like her. I love it!

Momma seems to be down to earth, i use to do home health care and work in people's home, it was wonderful to learn different recipes from different cultures.

The food looked so good! And it was nice to see your mother and sister, I bet Curtis your mother is so glad to have Stephanie and her kids home. And Ms.Anita seemed like she had a fun childhood, with just enough of innocent mischief! I think ya'll should do a video with both ya'll 's mother's hanging out together and maybe cooking together, though I'm sure nobody could probably walk afterwards from eating so much, a combination of both cultural cuisines,oh yeah! And Duana all ya'll kids are cute, but Zai Zai has the sweetest voice. And the fishing toy made me want one. Stay on the path CURLY COOPERS AND LOVE AND BLESSINGS ALWAYS. 🙏🥰

The trick to minimize tears when chopping onions is to do it right next to a stove burner. Turn on the burner while you're chopping the oinion. The flame will actually burn off the gas that's released from the chopped onion. Less tears! Happy chopping! 👍

I didn't want to say, I knew she had an accent but I thought it was deep Lousiana. I'm usually so good at this knowing country people are from.

I visited Germany and was able to experience the traditional cooking from friends of my daughter in law and son. She was an amazing cook. Schnitzel yes!!

Everything looks delicious I want to try some of these recipes I know the meat for sure LOL my husband loves me the red cabbage I only put that in three player salads or when I make coleslaw but I never just cooked it for a side dish I just use the regular green cabbage. The door bells store we was so funny I remember when we were coming up when we visited our Auntie and Uncle house for the summer and we would stay with them for maybe a week I'm figuring my parents were had vacation but anyway we should be around two blocks up and ring people doorbell LOL are we did this in the summer time every time we went over there lol I'm laughing now but that's not funny because I'm an adult now if somebody were to play on my doorbell like that I think I would get upset LOL thank you guys so much I know this is long God bless you💞🙏
