Truely a Wonderful person We live not to far from him he has a lot of compassion for this country and the people here don't count him out he is just getting his second wind😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Man this is a ballad! I go to it a lot through the years! I wish you would re-release this song. Thanks man! I'll look forward to seeing you back on top!
Good to here this song. I miss the old days. I still remember the early 2000s when you came on the tour bus while I was recording with a real camcorder (prior to high tech phones/youtube) and I asked you where we were at after playing the 98fm country music fest and in your best Lefty Frizzell voice said...."I just played in Saginaw Michigan". You are an amazing talent brother. Hope all is well
This song is amazing! Used to listen to it every day back and fourth to the beach and this song just made life feel like it was okay and everything’s gonna be alright
This was #1 with me. When it came on, I wouldn't let anyone make a sound. I had to savor it from beginning to end. There's only one other song I've insisted on silence from everyone around me and that's Vince Gill's "If You Ever Have Forever in Mind." That's not bad company. 😉
I think Darryl didn't get the success some of the others of his ability did, because he came before his time. If he released his hits now, he would blow up bigger than the new pop country stuff. His voice hits you at your soul, you can feel it. In person, it's incredible. No voice like his since Johnny Cash. Such a big star, and I'm a big fan....
Nashville needs to get back to real Traditional country music like this. and get rid of that pop rap country crap that no one listen to and is not worth putting on the radio
A better voice then the bro country crap Nashville force feeds the millennials over the airwaves. I miss real country artist who can make you feel it. Great song...
Yes i agree and i miss country music like this it was so much better this song gives me chills every time i hear it i don't even listen to the radio anymore i just listen to Country CDs like this
You're right, 15 was horses**t. Beautifully written, it was a perfect choice for your voice. How you sang it at CDX, is maybe how you should of released it. Hind sight and all that....
