I spent ALL day swatching mine--had to stop before I did the greys--dinner time. Will finish it up in the morning!
First, thanks for the dedication it took to complete this project. The nice thing is that you have provided a great service to those who cannot swatch or don’t care to swatch. Even in places where you vacillated on where a particular color belonged - you made a personal decision - so any placement is neither right nor wrong. As far as videos - a leaf tutorial for all the greens and another for green plus alternatives or completely non-green choices would be awesome - especially in the Johanna Basford books - she has soooo many different leaves in her books. Finally - I’d vote yes to the 240 Kalour swatch charts. I bet if you could check in with Amazon there were a fair number of colorists who bought those pencils.
While I prefer oil based pencils, I fell in love with BW when i got their skintone sets. They have shades that are just so beautiful and unique. Then I got the Monarch and Dragon, and I am convinced no company in existence has better green shades and variety. I love the ones I although I still need the 3 older sets. Pamela I sincerely appreciate thr work you've put into this color chart and everything else on your channel. Your videos are always so long and detailed. Your color charts are perfect and you are so good about keeping them up to date. I appreciate the hard work you put in and it's been a huge help for me. Thank you!!! This color chart showed me which shades I was missing by not having the older sets so I'll have to go snag those sooner than later lol. You're the best!

Thank you so much for taking the time to do all of this work for us. I am one of those people who to NOT enjoy swatching any of my art supplies. I also DISPISE having to rearrange the color order. The absolute worst for me are watercolor palettes which I have squeezed out my colors into a non-rearrangable palette. (I'm looking at you Mission Gold) UGH! It is so irritating to realize that you would prefer a different order and can't change it! At least with colored pencils, I can rearrange the order in the case...irritating? Yes! But totally doable. I have learned to color a swatch (any color medium I want) large enough for me to "punch out" the entire swatch with a rectangle paper punch. I can lay them out and rearrange the color over and over again until I'm happy. If a company adds new colors, like here with these Black Widows, I can lay my swatches out and figure out where the new ones belong. Of course, I still have my full page swatches that are done for convenience when I color...but that is filled out once all the hard work is done and I am happy with the order. Also, I was NOT able to resist the 250 Kalour set. I personally would be one that would EXTREMELY appreciate the work required to put them in color order!
I was so disappointed with Kalour’s original color order! On the plus side, they left out the swatch chart that’s supposed to be included, and when I reached out to them to request one, they sent me a whole new set…no questions asked. Wow! I love your punch idea for swatching and organizing. Totally trying that.
Chart is groovy -- really appreciate the work & that you're sharing it on etsy as affordable swag! Looking forward to re-swatching these in the new order + the dragon as my first New Year's Project. Again, thanks so much for this!

The work you did on the swatch charts is amazing and the price you put on them in the Etsy shop I probably would have considered paying 10 times that amount. Would you consider doing the caran d’ache pencils in family order? Also, if you are looking for ideas for videos, I could really use a tutorial on how to do red bricks and how to color a wedding veil when there is a face behind it. I love the process of planning and swatching; find it therapeutic as well. I always do mine in the lateral ROYGBIV model. Within those colour families I work in the the tints, tones, and shades so you do see the values of each colour so my swatch sheet looks likes waves of intensity in each colour family. It does take me a few days as well whenever I get a new set LOL Been debating whether to get the Black Widows. I'm unsure whether I'd be able to stand looking at them as they look so cluttered due to their different looking sets, so tempted though. Love your work and do enjoy seeing how others arrange their collections. Great job!
The newer generation of the original sets is much more consistent as to the dipping on the ends as well as the fonts. I too would love to see your swatch sheets.
I chuckled this time at the moving your second page so you dont mess it up until you start swatching on it! 😂 The names facinated me... pig's ear 🐷 and sapphire(green?)💎 followed by green slime. 💚 The green slime and zombie 🧟♀️ seemed very appropriate. My folks used to drink iced coffee. A real stumbling block for a kiddo trying to sneak a sip of iced tea! Blah!! 😅 I was wondering if the two black and the two whites came from the same two sets?

So far I think I see one I might move. But won't know until I get the MN set. I have been buying the sets when they come on sale.

I was on the treadmill when you uploaded your video, of course I needed to watch and have you keep me company while I walked. I’ve already put Serpent-a lighter orange color from the DG set to good use on a current color by # by George Toufexis. I will be working on this tonight. @@dawnmanor1960 the colors are gorgeous and not the same like with most budget sets. Although, after you purchase all the sets of these, it does put them out of that “budget” category.
Thank you very much for this swatch video. I am considering to get me some of the black widows, they have really beautyful colors and appear to blend very well. However, there are still a couple questions I have - maybe you can answer them, since you use them a lot? 1. how do they perform on colored paper or even black? 2. how good are they suited for mixed media? Do they go well on markers, warercolor, etc.? 3. are they also available outside of sets, and elsewhere than the big A (for geography - I am located in Germany)? Thx in advance.

Wow, Pamela this is a truly beautiful chart and a huge work! I was wondering if you have a Black Widow - Prismacolor conversion chart.? I only have Black Widow pencils what I really love, but because I don't own Prismacolors I'm unable to follow all the beautiful color alongs done with prismas. 😔 A conversion chart would really save my life ☺

Just stuck the new dragon set in to slots where I think they fit from your original swatch of the 144. It took me 4 days to get them in order. I'm not as specific as you are, so I imagine it will be quite labor intensive. LOL I was exhausted after I was finished.
This goes for all swatches like this one. Could you please explain why you are putting them in the order you are? I just don’t understand why some colors are put in a certain order. I must be missing something. Thank you.

16-20 hours! Wow! It took me around 7 hours to swatch my 150 Prismacolor set, and I thought THAT was a lot. What dedication you have :)
