    7-11 corporate today is Japanese owned. Most people don't know that---or care. History is great, but you only can deal what is now. Seems 7-11 corporate calls all of the important shots. Franchise owners, some of whom work there, work for wages if they are lucky. 7-11's in my area are 20-50 percent higher in price that supermarkets. Yet,
    they are open 24 hours a day. Their gas prices are usually among the highest in the area.
