Poo accidentally caused Mitch's NES to reset twice when they were racing. (Poo stomped the ground.) It killed the race, but they both had great sportsmanship about it and it was funny.
I enjoyed the commentary about the lava on the ceiling, the slow bullets, and that stuff related about the price that Bowser had to pay to get all of that. They were probably referencing Dorkly's video which makes a joke related to that. It could also be just a coincidence.
So im not live in america, but id like someday to maybe travel to United States to asist at one of this big gaming events to play some stuff. All looks like guys of kinda my age, wich is a nice thing since is not too much gaming in my country.

I don't think I ever knew the hammer suit protected against regular fire while ducking. Is it even possible to encounter a Fire Bro after getting a Hammer Suit without playing NG+?
There's one in the first hand level on world 8, and I'm fairly sure you can get a hammer suit before that from a mushroom house somewhere(but obviously that's out of the way and speedrunners aren't going to pick it up when there's faster alternatives)
There's a Toad's house in world 6 with a guaranteed hammer suit. It protects against fire, not only from fire bros, but also from piranha plants, of which there are plenty in the later worlds, not least world 7.
During their race, Poo stomped the ground out of frustration after a goof. The force of the stomp actually caused Mitch's console to freeze. The race was paused as Mitch caught back up, and it stayed neck-and-neck until the final level...when Poo did another frustration stomp, and it froze Mitch's console again. Look for their names with the term "All Forts". It's a run worth watching.
