Let me tell you, it's such a rarity to lose yourself so quickly to a band you've never listened to. The pure ambiance and vibration of your music in some-what indescribable. A meaning for form we don't see very much these days in a band. There's so much passion in your music and that's why you can't make bad music, because you write from the soul. does anyone have a copy of this on vinyl that doesn't sound good? I'm asking because I pre-ordered the teal variant when it came out and I only played it once but I played it today again and it just sounds off. Like it's a bit sped up and the tone and pitch are off and the music sounds like it's a half step higher. just curious to know if anyone has the same problem. this is the only record I own that sounds like this. all my other records sound absolutely fine.

I've loved B&C since day 1, I mean I have a huge tattoo of the sunhead lady from separation on my forearm, but I'll just never be able to get into this. Don't get me wrong I'm glad people dig it and they're happy with the direction they've taken, but it will never compare to their EP's and last 2 full length. I guess it sucks because I know they're more talented than this, and I don't see long term B&C fans saying, "Yeah my favorite album by those dudes was definitely Light We Made." I feel like they could have set the bar a little higher. Oh well. Anyways, cheers!
Stephen Overman you have to switch it up if you want longevity in your music career they are doing what they feel regardless of who likes it or not and that's what keeps the music new look at deftones not one album sounds like the one before but all 8 albums were well written

It seems like they got writers block and were just like "we have to write an album let's just be different so people won't say it's bad because they don't wanna seem uncool" or something haha very unimpressive effort and I'm positive it's lasting value in months, years to come will be very minimal.

im a huge fan of balance and composure but so far these songs have been super underwhelming. postcards is alright itd probably be better if it didn't have the drum machine and afterparty is probably my least favorite song that balance has ever written. this song isnt BAD and but it as well as the other 2 singles have been super underwhelming and kind of disappointing. really hoping the album redeems itself when it fully comes out.
I agree. Haven't heard even a hint of the sound I fell in love with originally. All the songs so far don't have anything memorable about them; just sounds like background noise I'll hear on the radio.
