I love 'I heard the bells on Christmas day' , especially when sung by Casting Crowns. O Holy Night is absolute Christmas magic. If I need a boost to do some holiday cleaning I will play Rocking around the Christmas tree. Gorgeous yarns. I am enjoying your vlogmas.
There are so many Christmas songs that could be my favorite, but this year i would have to say, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, because of the message it has.
I used to sing every Sunday, in church. I miss it very much. My favorite Christmas song-for the same reasons as you-is O Holy Night. I get a full case of chills too. Thank you for making this month an enjoyable one. Your advent yarn choices are beautiful. Enjoy!
Snow at Christmas Greg Lake. Little Drummer Boy Bing Crosby and David Bowie. Carols once in Royal David city and you have reminded me of Oh Holy Night x
Oh goodness, my favorite Christmas song is Little Drummer Boy. Hands down, that is my favorite. However, I do have a second favorite and that would be Silent Night.
Driving home for Christmas, Chris Rea. He’s from my home town and I just love it. And Gloria in excelsis deo is my favourite Christmas carol , but not favourite to spell
Carol: Mary Did You Know? By local group Pentatonix. Song: White Christmas either Bing Crosby or Elvis's version. Favorite childhood Christmas song is Elvis's Santa Bring My Baby Back To Me.
Favorite Christmas songs The First Noel and it has to be the version sung by Steve Wariner. Next up would be Silver Bells. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours. So enjoy this Vlogmas of yours and I will miss you so much when it is finished. I keep asking Alexa what time is it in the UK so I know if you have posted. lol!,All the best, Joyce
Mandy I love your nonsense 😂 it’s the same nonsense that goes on in my head too 😂 I wonder if it’s because we are the same age born in the same month 😂😂😂
O Holy Night is also my favourite though honourable mention to Carol of the Bells though I don't know if that one is a carol or a song either. I used to do a Christmas dance event where at the end we'd sing the Hallelujah chorus with signs so everyone could sing along even if they didn't know it and even in a very mixed group it was amazing every time. My favourite pop Christmas song is not a very well known one, I don't think, it's Let It Be Christmas by Alan Jackson and it has the advantage of being a waltz (see above, regarding dancing; almost all of my favourite songs are waltzes) and it's just lovely.
I love at Midnight Mass when the choir sing the first verse of Once in Royal David's City alone, at the back of the church and in the dark, and then the congregation joins in as they process. The most magical moment of Christmas x
