Was searching for the re-recorded version of "Ecocide" by EARTH CRISIS w/lyrics. Kept seeing this pop up so I gave it a try & I like it! Real moody & atmospheric, plodding, then fast & screamy...nice hardcorepunk band. Reminds me of the early 90's & CIVIL DISOBEDIANCE playing house shows here in Ann Arbor. Also this band brings to mind SUBMISSION HOLD! Their album "Waiting For Another Monkey to Throw..." is sooo damn great! Keep hardcore, punk!
I've always wondered why so many punk kids are also extremely musically talented. I get there is a lot of time to play guitar and all, but its almost like some of these kids had musical lessons as children, and now they are kick ass classical musicians living on the street.

Get yer facts straight before making such sweeping and ignorant generalizations. What u say may be true about some people some of the time but don't say it like it applied to all people all of the time. I should know, I spent enough time on the streets and in the punk scene for the last 25+ years... fuck that made me feel old hahaha!

I was all WTF? Ecocide with a fiddle? I was actually checking out some stuff from the Dutch Death Metal act Ecocide, a fucking good band (very good brutal / traditional DM). But I have to say that this finding was a struck of excellent luck. I'm just checking out their discography on Metal Archives. Despite being in the Doom scene there is no doubt that they would appeal to many black metal fans (like me). Awesome combo, need more of them!!!
Wow this is sick. Good band synchrony with all of them. I like the drumming with it. Good filming whomever did. The violin is amazing with the guitar and bass too. Cute chick.

Not bad at all.. but it's quite impossible to hear her singing because the recording is without a proper eq of the various instruments. Out of that, very interesting. Are they still playing to these days?
How glad I am that I remembered this band today... and the last time I heard this composition was at least 10 years ago! This is real music!

first this music is not really complicated and second, they are white upper middle class privileged and not from the streets at all
