I totally missed Dover's nightlife. I was not aware of any nightclubs in Dover. Until, the age of 16, we had the odd school disco and that was it. And no 6th form discos organized at the grammar school. Problem is that living in St Margaret's I was totally dependent on parents for transport. And it was a big No from them.. Only discovered the night scene at university....

When i was about 15 I used to go to a disco up Whitfield Hall or Archers school hall but when I was 18 I discovered nightclubs then trouble started 😆
I was a doorman at that nightclub, when it was Nu-age
I used to go to Nu-age quite alot when I was young
