Every summer my parents and I would vacation on this Lake. Unsurpassed sunset photo opportunities are easily accessible from the town park. My artist husband has painted so many scenes already. Days of boating, fishing, hiking and camping are tucked away in my store of memories. Thanks for this video it brought me back up there.
The USPS name being Faust dates back to when Tupper Lake was actually two separate towns. I also second the local terminology for the locations as someone who has lived in Tupper Lake for their entire life. Faust isn't used too much anymore, ever since USPS has combined Faust into Tupper Lake
This is what we actually call "Uptown", the actual downtown area doesn't feel like the "real" downtown, but that's what locals call it. There's a good article about what locals call certain areas on the towns website

When I lived there years ago, it was called "uptown". I lived in what we called
"downtown", "Faust", or "The Junction". Faust was the USPS name.

How come you didn't finish and go into lower topper you only did half a tupper Lake?

That's not downtown. It starts out on Rte 3 and goes through uptown until it gets to downtown.
