Based on incomes? If we work in the health industry, and my income would drop 35% going from California to Texas. Would it be feasible? I usually have about 5k extra a month on my budget post maxing out all my retirement accounts here in California, abd still have plenty of cash after budget. I want to know if thats still feasible with a cut in income in Texas, and all the small unexpected cost in Texas. I guess comparing incomes California to Texas is my question.
Hey there! Mary and I are California transplants and our money stretches way more here. When it comes to affordability it depends on how much home due to property taxes but I’ve seen that 70-80 k goes a long way here. Happy to have a more in-depth discussion about this if you’d like !
