Hey fish DUDE, Enjoyed the video awesome looking fish. Are they selling as pair, trio, individual?? Also I like the large box filters I can only find the small square or corner triangle ...where do you get them?? Keep up the good work ...did you get the trout fish from Greg Sage?
Some are in pairs. Some are in trios. Some are unsexed. The descriptions at dansfish.com/catalog.category/10 will make that clear. We sourced those large box filters from Jehmco.com. They were not sourced from Greg.
I have a very long gardening day today. Too much work and not enough time for fish and dogs🥲. So just dropping in to leave a 👍 and a thanks for Dan and the friendly fishmonger crew! non of the berlin or kohako lyre tail males are fertile as they have long fin gonopodiums. You need to breed the females with males of the same type with normal gonopodiums. Unfortunate that a lot of your fish arrived sick with parasites or something else.
I think most folks would find it shocking how many animals have parasites...including humans. Fortunately, we are pretty well equipped to deal with fish that arrive with parasites here.

You said red was the dominant color in guppies? You sure? I hate black in guppies. Tuxedos, etc, etc. Seems like almost every guppy has black in it.

Do you recommend keeping 1 species in individual tanks or have them in a community tank. Just starting out im starting to collect different species but currently i only have a community tank with a few small isolation tank/birth tanks

Slowly I becoming huge fan of swordtails fish, since I had so many problems with balloon mollies I love but they are so troubled when it comes to their health condition.
I got two pairs of the Limia Perugiae (Boca de Cachon) in from you yesterday. The video really doesn't do justice to how colorful this fish is. They're still in their stress colors from shipping, but even so they're extra sparkly. There's a nice tiger striping to the undercoat, but then those sparkly scales show up on top of it. Even the females have a little sparkle to them. When they decide to show off, that iridescence really pops.
It would be nice if you were to put up the names of the fish you are highlighting. It just makes things easier. Thanks

I spent time in Cody years back, never saw any pet/fish shops but I was emptying my parents house so somewhat distracted, did get some epic driftwood from a glacial lake nearby.
You mentioned the word wag to describe a swordtail derivative, I'm a fish guy but unfamiliar with that term, what's it mean and what city are you in in wyoming? I understand there are feral populations of swordtails in Wyoming in some of the hot springs along with over a dozen other states.

I have a ton of Cobra guppy with my big Apple sized fancy goldfish, I do see fry from time to time but the goldfish have learned to hunt but with coverage / places to hide Fry do grow up

That would be a Homaloptera ocellata, Spotted Lizard Hillstream Loach.
