With SureCart you can create physical products, and digital products, sell courses, and memberships, do upgrades, and downgrades, sell products and subscriptions in one checkout, auto calculate taxes and so much more.

SureMembers is a content restriction plugin where the ecom part is powered by SureCart.

I'm not a fan of woocomerce but surecart doesn't currently seem to provide functionality to support variable products. So, I wouldn't go so far as to call it an alternative to woocommerce (let alone a 'better' one) as it's not an apples for apples comparison IMO. But no doubt, surecart may suit some folks better depending on what they sell.

Thanks for a great tutorial! I'm a newbie, and the information is very helpful. My only suggestion is that, it would be great if you would slow down for us beginners :) You talk pretty fast, and go through the material very quickly, and I will have to go through a few times and stop and rewind and replay so that I can "get" what you're saying and use it on my site. Hello Ferdy, thank you for this great presentation especially concerning subscriptions taht is a sensitive subject for us..., question: we sell softwares by subscription and need the UUID of the PC in the Stripe or SureCart metadata to manage the licenses is there a way to manage this with Surecart products directly? we then need a basis to check the active status of the subscruption in order to authorize our software on the PCs concerned... thank you in advance if you have a suggestion

Thanks for this great overview. I just have a question regarding invoices. I'm based in The Netherlands, so invoice numbers need to be sequential. You mention products as well as photography assignments with invoices, so more a custom project for a client with for example an hourly rate billed. Will SureCart create automatically the right sequential invoice numbers if I create a product that is a custom photography assignment? I can imagine you have the same situation with probably courses but also custom website jobs. If so, how did you solve it with SureCart? Keep up the great videos 👍🏻
The video is very important. But I don't know how to create product categories in Surecart and how to showcase a product page for each product so a customer can see all the products for sale with their thumbnails, prices, descriptions, etc, choose the ones he wants to buy, and then go to the checkout page to make the purchase. Thanks for your assistance.

Hey Luis, you can adjust the code of confirmation emails, so I guess you can do that. Right now users can download the attachment in the customer dashboard.

So you build product list, checkout, cart and all that jazz in the background then build page with say elementor then drop in the shortcode? Not bad at all. The slide out cart feature is really cool to.
Regarding PayPal (now available) I had to activate the possibility to pay by subscription. This took several days and when I go into the SureCart settings I always get a message that says it is not enabled (recurring payments not enabled). Any idea how to properly set up PayPal for subscription sales with SureCart?

3e question. In the Netherlands we have (as you know) 9% and 21% tax. Books for example are 9% and not 21%. How can I manage this in Surecart?
If I install surecart on Wordpress where I already have WoCommerce installed, can I have a plugin conflict, which will result in users using the online course having problems with access to the courses?

I have a subscription site and what I want to do is give my clients an extra free month when they refer someone to me that becomes a subscriber (I am currently giving the first month away for free). I would not mind doing this manually on the back end since I am just getting started. I would also like to know if this is something I can set up so it's automated and is only good after the person they've referred to me has made their first payment after their first month runs out. Are both or one of these options something I can do with SureCart?

My Surcart plugin is not working, it doesn't give me the option to save the API key because it's greyed out. Is anyone else having the same problem? I have tried reinstalling the plugin many times and even going back to previous versions of Wordpress.

You can only use it with WordPress at this moment.

Hmm! What is known about SureCart? Who owns them? Where are their servers located? How safe are they given that they are going to know everything about your online business? Sounds risky to me since all processes are handled by Surecart servers - BUT - thank you for an excellent video
Adam Preiser, the team of Brainstorm Force (Astra, Spectra) and a few others are involved. I trust them and I know they think about everything when it cones to safety and security.

Maybe I missed it but I see that you can limit the amount someone can purchase , is there any way to limit the amount of products available ?
Also , let's say someone specific has a habit of asking for a refund , is there any way of preventing them from trying to purchase again ? Like restricting their email address ?
Sorry we don't have an option like this. I totally get where you are coming from, but I would suggest addressing it from your terms of service. For my other products, in the terms for the refund policy, the refund starts on the day of the first purchase. So if they buy, then refund, then buy later and try to refund, we don't issue a refund. I don't mind the second refund so much, but on the 3rd and 4th time, we enforce the policy.

For now, yes. We will be working to add payment gateways for each major region. This includes Mollie, Mercado Pago, PayStack, RazorPay, and more.

You can create the product pages with any page builder and just add an add to cart button to that page 😊
