definitely agree with your point on feeling having accomplished something when you learn a language. its so rewarding and when you realize, all it takes a steady routine -needless to mention the opportunities and people it allows you to connect with later in your life. hoping for the best in your journey at language learning, i'm learning french as well for a year now and am around b1 :)

i'd definitely love thatt. that's really a good idea, to keep a daily diary. anything that makes you don't hate the whole process of learning a language is what you should continue with, you can basically customize it to what you like, there are even people who learn languages from songs:)) best of luck!!
