How to remove the interior of an XJ Cherokee in 10 minutes

Today we are removing the interior from the Jeep ! The goal is to remove everythiing to clean fix and clean up every part. This the beginning of project Cherokee, a complete build to give the XJ his former glory back and also to improve it a little bit ! Lol I'm working on my 96 xj but the only thing i can think about now is Jeremy Clarkson....I loved the old top gear. Im ripping out the old carpet in back and found rust clumps lol I'll be grinding and sand blasting for awhile, im also puting heat and sound insulation through out as i work on it.

I would be concerned too. Everytime I work on my XJ I want to set it on fire...
One light bulb, and now I have to remove the whole interior to find that nut plate....of course it popped inside the quarter panel..into the void...

I'm restoring a 93 cherokee sport and I got a bit stuck on removing that foam layer at the foot under the dash. Looks like you cut yours off?

Some of it is glued and some is attached by plastic clips. So yeah the best solution is to cut the part you can’t remove so you can keep the foam mostly in one piece !

I did the same to my '93. The foam after so many years is basically rotten, it's better to cut it out and install a modern foam, is quite cheap and insulates much better

Do you know if you bought a drill and a couple power tools would not have to speed the video up because power tools go as fast as you have to speed the video up and you can slow down. Somebody hook the sky up with an impact wrench in the driver drill
