You know you are excelling when someone brings you a $10,000 ride and spends $8,000 to detail it. Jakub, your shop is amazing and I hope I get to your level here in the Austin area.
I knew of the whereabouts of a nice late model Cherokee like this. 1999-ish red Classic with the painted bumpers and grey rims. It sat next to a house for many years. I always wanted it but didn't have the money. But when I did have the money I went to seek it out and just my luck the house was now empty and the Jeep was gone. Probably got send to the wrecking yard.
Keeping any classic alive costs money. Near resto levels of refresh costs plenty. People that do this aren’t considering the blue book value against the cost to keep it going, especially when turning back the clock.
I have a 96 XJ in excellent condition...But I got the same result on mine and spent no more than $500... for a full clean and detail inside and out plus a ceramic finish, plus I did it myself. To spend what your saying is $8000 is crazy. Sorry....
Much of the cost of this detail (and many from IAM) is the dry ice cleaning. I don’t think people realize the cost of the equipment and the time it takes. You might think 8k spent on a 10k Jeep is dumb, but the customer wanted it brought back to new as possible, and they got it.
The price is not secret in our company and I’m trying to be transparent as I can but I don’t want other people misunderstand how it works. For exact same service can be two very different price because the condition of each car is different and will take us different time to finish it on same level. Usually the full package is between $5k-10k (including interior, exterior and dryice cleaning) the price will change based on the condition of the car, level of work you need done and special requests (ceramic coating, PPF, replacing parts etc.) Thank you for watching our videos😉 Jakub
@@IAMDetailing in first sight it’s a lot of money but when one realizes and carefully watching your videos Jakub, it’s an absolute fair prize ! 😊 one day I will have such an opportunity for my Volvo as well ☺️
It showed Illinois plates, but there's no way that thing lived it's life there, it would be rusted beyond belief! I had a 97 same body style, could not kill that 4.0, but the body eventually feel apart on it.

Awesome work! I don't understand the reason behind having a build like this one when it's never ever going to see a trail especially after an 8k detailing job.
I mean this is amazing work but does it really have to cost that much? Or why would someone pay that much when the vehicle is not worth how much it cost to detail it?
If you consider a job like this takes 40-60+ hours to complete, parts are hard costs, it makes sense, you know? As far as the second question, these older car have a character that no new car has, and these will last many years to come after complete services like this and parts upgrade/replacements. These arguably have so much more character than most 4x4s today, and they have a very devout following

Thank you! 🙌🏽
This Jeep Cherokee is going to make other Jeep Cherokee owners jealous. Good work. Thank you,
As a Cherokee owner, i can confirm this.
A truly impressive transformation! Taking a regular SUV and making it look amazing. That is TALENT! Bravo!

Sounds like a lot of money, and it is, but look at what you get. The end product looks new. Awesome, work 👏.
Thanks Mark! 🫡

I have been wondering how much you would charge for a full package... out of my league even further than I thought.
Nice! The IH Scout in the background would make for an interesting video.
That is one clean Jeep. Classic body style too
Such a classic! Have a great weekend Craig!
Looking sharp for a well aged Cherokee 👌
80’s vibing never goes out of style 😎
Timeless 🙌🏽
I don't know what's worse. You charging 8k or them paying 8k for that.
I’m shipping you guys my Yugo! This is amazing!!
🫡🙌🏽 Let’s make it happen

This is a 1 day job with no expensive parts required. Only tape and cleaning products. I would pay $500 - $800 for this service.
Excellent. Mind blown. 🤯 The boys nailed it. 🔨🤘🏻😎
Thanks buddy! Something different for the feed this morning!
That’s the info all of us have been waiting for …your prize tag 🥳 thank you 😊 great work as always 👍🏻

This Cherokee is like" NOW will you go to the prom with me?" 🏁🏁🏁

Thank you for mentioning the price. I have a collection of cars in need of detailing and I wondered what it would cost.

Awesome everything! What dressing were you using on the door handles?
Damn I miss my Cherokee!
They’re such iconic vehicles. Here’s to all the rides we had to part ways with 🍸
Did someone from Winnetka hire you? Used to live there. 🤔
What product did you use on the mirrors and door handles?
How many hours of work was this? Incredible work. The best detailing on youtube!
No reply lol
Spending $8k on a $10k car only makes sense if you increase the value of the Jeep by the amount spent. Otherwise you’re a fool.
This wasn't done for financial reasons but personal reasons.....Nostalgia is expensive
Also, for a Cherokee this clean and perfect there would be XJ guys like me lined up to fork out 20 grand all day long
Un travail canon, continuer !!✌✌💪💪
I thought you were not supposed to wash car under direct sun light?
8k well spent 😂

The jeep isn’t even worth 8000. There is no way in God’s name that cost $8000 to detail if it did I’m in the wrong damn business.
Very questionable this guys work and price 😂
Absolutely ridiculous!!
You are ripping people off!!!
