This game is way more thrilling than I anticipated. Those Zurks and the eyeballs were hella creepy. So from what we got so far I assume that humanity created this bacteria that was supposed to eat away all the waste the humans produced but the bacteria evolved into what is now known as the Zurks by the still functioning robots?
Yep. And I read an interpretation that mentioned that the eyes were formed from the humans digested by the zurks to form the ikky organic scaffolding, which somehow lead to the formation of eyes, leading to a symbiotic relationship. The eyes call the zurks when they see prey and the zurks make more eyes.
I wan the finale to be titled something like "I will always be a cat" lol. Glad John went and found the last memory in the slums! (Also loved his reaction to the untitled last music sheet. What a rough last song to end the quest on. Woof.)
I love the robot designs. I also love how this game is both cute and horrific at the same time. I also have a feeling that however the game ends will make me cry; just seems like that kind of game.
I remember the sewer section of this game was one of the first time in a game in a LONG TIME that I'd felt genuinely unsettled. I think the imagery in addition to the vulnerability of being a little kitty gave me the chills.
I've been having one of the worst weeks of all time, culminating in a break up from what seemed like a perfectly good relationship. This video has helped me unwind - and in general these Stray videos have been so relaxing and therapeutic. Thank you for putting these out.
I’ve never played this game or have seen spoilers, so I’ve been having a fun time discovering everything along with John. Got to say the Doc Brown robot is one of my favorite things so far. Definitely agree with you with how beautiful the game environment is.

But the game is awesome and the story is interesting, so that makes everything all better. I like that despite the grimy dystopia the four-legged hero is cute and endearing.
Mann I hope you have a way better time 100%ing this game than I did! The run sequence without getting touched by zurks made me mald so I gave up lol. I'm really glad that you'll be hunting all of the memories though, I really enjoyed the story of this game and the memories are so missable if people don't care to stop and look for them

The chase scenes with the Zurks piling on top of each other lunging for Cat John made me think of the climax of Little Nightmares tbh.
