Same for me. I only started listening to them a few months ago and now they're one of my favorites. Super talented and seem like great guys. Hopefully they get back together so newer fans like us can see them.
Saw them live in San Francisco a few years back they were touring with Joyce Manor. Two great bands and an even better show highly recommend seeing them live if they get the band back together
I love how much fun they seem to they have. All the emotion. Lyrically and instrumentally this band is absolutely grand. Modern Baseball is one of the best.
They don't think we can make this last But we got eyes that see past these nights And we got callused hands But these arms aren't tried At least not yet I'm not crying, you're crying
I remember meeting these guys at a show once, they asked if anyone had knew of Tiny Moving Parts and I screamed “fuck yes” and they told me to find them after their set, watched The Wonder Years tear it up while hanging with MOBO
Everything about this is so perfect. The setting, the atmosphere, everyone singing along, Cameron and Ian vibing in the back, and the song itself. Feels bittersweet to watch this now though.
Man I was 13 when this came out. Didn’t hear it till I was 14-15 and I missed your guys’ concert bc I was too scared to ask my dad for tickets… Now you guys in the video look the same age as me. This girl I used to have a thing with saw you guys live in my city and that is the reason I’m jealous of her. Man you guys were just great. I wish I could have seen you guys live
Tbh i listen to joy division, the cure, damn near every sad boy band ever known. And yet till this day, the only band that can make me cry is Modern Baseball and Slaughter beach dog. Incredible.

I love this so much. It's something else when a band sounds good live and is clearly having a great time. I'm glad they were able to gift us with such amazing music even if they did take a break. It's better to have loved and lost than never have loved at all, you know?

I miss this band a lot now
SAMES. They're pretty unique. The end of this song is incredible.
I've discovered them less than a month ago and I already miss them
me too:/
Everyday
Long live mobo
I want my entire life to feel the way this video feels.
No you dont brother x
I miss these guys, sadly I wasn't a fan until after they broke up, but I would love to see them live
Same for me. I only started listening to them a few months ago and now they're one of my favorites. Super talented and seem like great guys. Hopefully they get back together so newer fans like us can see them.

@@austinpotter9370 man I doubt they'll get back together
@@carterboo4242 never say never! Definitely wouldn't be the craziest band comeback ever but at the same time I could see them keeping it buried
@@austinpotter9370 yeah, I'll stay hopeful.
I love how much fun they seem to they have. All the emotion. Lyrically and instrumentally this band is absolutely grand. Modern Baseball is one of the best.
Seeing them preform live is worth it completely. They're so funny on stage
Totally agree, I saw them last night and even though Bren wasn't there it was still an incredible experience
They don't think we can make this last
But we got eyes that see past these nights
And we got callused hands
But these arms aren't tried
At least not yet
I'm not crying, you're crying
The end of this song is incredible...
Hits tough tho

Ive been watching these sets all night. Best solid 2 hours I've ever spent on youtube
SAME HERE.
I keep coming back to these sets, they're just so enjoyable to watch
Same
Real
all these years later... same.
2024 anyone? Modern baseball please come back:(
I forgot how much this song could make me cry.. especially now they're probably never coming back
Idk how to explain it - but Ian belting out in the background is one of my favorite music things of all time.
“Let’s be the last to leave tonight because I need time to find the courage to speak my mind” FEELS
that ending gives me chills everytime.
Never forget, friends. Dont ever forget about these guys
Anyone in 2024
ME
I never went to college but I've been to some college basement parties and this video is so comforting in a lot of ways
The vibe in this room is immaculate and cannot replicate the time and emotion in this video
I was lucky enough to see these guys 4 times. I miss that era
She said let's start from the top is the coolest way to start a song
If I could go to one concert in the past, this would be it
1:45 legendary
its so hard for me to watch this without like lowkey sobbing tbh, i miss this band so fucking much. theyre still my favorite.
Long live mobo
Same

Still watching these videos over and over. Such joy
I miss this band so much. Also Cam from SN and Ian are so cute.
0:28 let the boy cook
What? Lmao
The chemistry they had was such a beautiful thing
Tbh i listen to joy division, the cure, damn near every sad boy band ever known. And yet till this day, the only band that can make me cry is Modern Baseball and Slaughter beach dog. Incredible.
this brings me so much happiness
Wish I found them before this year. Would've loved to enjoy a night with them like this.
Was Brendan crying at the end? Gosh I love this band
DM Punk it really looks like it :/

Where you mention my smile
You got a lot of nerve complimenting me
Through choruses and rhyme
[Verse 2: Brendan Lukens]
But I know how you get
From time to time
'We'll do this and that, oh, travel the map'
And maybe just for a while
I thought you were my re-do
You thought you could change my name
I could tell by the look on your face
Whenever I would say-"
[Verse 3: Brendan Lukens]
But that when I stopped
To listen or care
About anything other than a plan of attack
To get me back to where
You are my re-do
Or at least a pair of eyes that would notice when I
Couldn't conjure words 'cause I thought about it too long
[So I'll leave the steady hands to Sean]
[Verse 4: Brendan Lukens]
'Cause we all know I lack
In the field of conversing correctly
Without shaking or getting queasy
Not letting my emotions get involved
And on a side note, you stole my heart
Like I stole your hometown lingo
With steady hands and strong (Steady hands and strong)
But now we're down to brass tacks
And we both know it
The odds are in my favor
Though you won't show it
[Verse 5: Brendan Lukens]
You etched holes in my brain
Deep and, like you
Always too out of reach
To see it clearly
You sank words into my veins
Deep and, like you
Too excited to get them out fully
[Verse 6: Brendan Lukens]
I know I'm bad with expectations
The ones too large for any moment but I
I can promise expectations
Grounded for this time around
Let's be the last to leave tonight
'Cause I need time to find the courage
To speak my mind, to speak my mind
Oh, hear me out, oh, just this time
[Refrain: Brendan Lukens]
They don't think we can make this last
But we got eyes that see past these nights
And we got calloused hands
But these arms aren't tired, at least not yet
[Refrain: Brendan Lukens]
They don't think we can make this last
But we got eyes that see past these nights
And we got calloused hands
But these arms aren't tired, at least not yet
[Outro: Brendan Lukens]
They just think we are young with broken hearts
Stomping around every day
So let's stomp around breaking
Young at heart all the way
So let's stomp around breaking
Young at heart all the way
while absolutely no one is listening to my music i wanna give up but then i watch this and just know if i dont keep going theres just no point
Keep at it, friend. Pretty Great Day with a Girl makes me think you have plenty of potential.
Tears. Every time.
where are you
I miss them, I got into them right when Holy Ghost came out, I never got to see them live and it’s probably going to be my life’s biggest regret
So glad I saw these guys live, what an experience 🖤
I coming back to this, I miss them so much
