This game pisses me off so much. I want to live it because of the interesting characters, story and great music. But the gameplay has a lot of issues. Had to put it down after encountering the golden knights.
So to you it's garbage because you can't play as a female? I'm pretty certain that the Vessel's (the character you play as) gender is ambiguous, so they can be whatever you want. They don't exactly have any *defining* characteristics in that regard anyway. Also, Team Cherry is working on a mode where you can play as Hornet.

You need to give this another try sometime this year. They are giving it a free DLC and revamping a lot of the combat.

The stamina system in this game is my only complaint about it. This game suffers tremendously from having it.
Personally it just adds resource management, I'd prefer it over mindlessly mashing attack or block with no consequences.
