It’s funny how my mother’s mistake in getting this game instead of an FPS threw me into an amazing adventure and helped me get better at reading.

@@Seergun The closest it comes in-game is a Shiekah Stone that tells you "Some say that the owl Kaepora Gaebora is the re-incarnation of an ancient Sage".

12:00 it's actually not a lost cause, there were two curses on the forest, the temple and the spider. I think just like as an adult the temple one stops the growth of a new Deku tree, the spider would have damaged the sprout if it hadn't been dealt with or the spiders might have taken over the whole forest and wiped out the kokiri!
Gohma also might birth more children to kill more of the Forest. Things Ganondorf's Malice touches tends to do that...

This is a game I love but can never get myself to replay so I'm very happy when I find people like you diving into the lore.
You should definitely replay it. I jump back in for a few minutes here and there when I can. You'll be amazed at how much you remember about the game.

I never thought that Legend of Zelda needed a sassy lore narrator until I watched your vids. I hope you and everyone you work with on this get all the success you deserve from this type of lore reading.
After the Hyrule Historia confirmed some fan theories, I like to think Ocarina Link has his own Trilogy of games. You play as him in Ocarina, travel through time and create the Zelda timeline split as a result of saving the future. Link then goes on a journey to search for his lost friend, and experiences the meta events of Majora's Mask as a result. He then appears as a regretful spirit in Twilight Princess, and helps the new Hero by passing on his skills. He has such an interesting arc, and is easily the most interesting Link. So many people want to know how he died.
My favorite Zelda game of all time. I had no doubt that you would do it justice.
I've spent the last five days on a binge of your channel and it's been a marvelous time! I love games, but I have the unfortunate issue called real life responsibilities and so I don't have the time to git gud enough to play many, and thus, I miss out on their stories. Your storytelling is amazing and you managed to get me invested in all of the lore to the games that you've made videos about (even the horror games that would otherwise be my nightmare fuel). I'll be looking forward to all of your future videos! You've done an amazing job!

Spectacular work! It is so comforting to hear such a familiar story told with all the pieces of the established lore as we have it nowadays, with a lot of great nods to future and past titles and your use of language makes a good story into a great one.
The only thing that I am surprised wasn't mentioned was the dying guard. The dying guard in the back alley is one of the more powerful subtle moments of Ocarina of Time and gives real weight to the destruction that Ganondorf represents.
I'll have to watch the second part tomorrow.

I'm only 4 minutes into this video (I'm drunk and high so I'm not fully here) but your cadence and delivery remind me of an old epic like the tale of gilgamesh or the odyssey I absurdly am for it it's beautiful (I'm not a new viewer I found you because of your resident evil but this is the first time your delivery style has made an impression as I think on it you've had this delivery style the whole time and it's part of whatever me sub to you)
I swear, the way you narrate picks my attention no matter which game's plot are you telling

Okay, as a lifelong fan of this game, you are doing an _amazing_ job not only describing all the pieces of the lore I've always found criminally underutilized in the actual game, but foreshadowing it and beyond _beautifully._ But as a stickler for the details, I do just have to point out that Anju does not get her name until Majora's Mask. In Ocarina of Time, she is only known as Cucco Lady.
I honestly think that you should go into a career of voiceover actress you have some decent talent and voiceover for reading things I don’t know what it’s really called but yeah you’re really good at this and your horizon zero dawn was amazing I’m looking forward to the next one
I love this! You have a wonderful voice for narrating, and gift for drawing the listener in. The accompanying gameplay makes it also almost feel like a documentary too.

I am so glad I found this channel ! I really enjoyed this explanation of the lead up to the actual "present" time the game play takes place. So much happened right before Link starts this journey and I never really stopped to think about it all until this video came out. I know a lot of the vids you’ve put up, the games stories I mean, incredibly well and yet having a storyteller retell them is incredibly new and refreshing. I like to listen while I’m doing other things, even for this game haha

The music, symbolism, story, sense of adventure, difficulty, and gameplay all work together to create something that will never be replicated. I find the Triforce looks like the fifth circle of Mars. The meaning of the circle is "discord". The Triforce is a god's idol that causes discord, and brings the Malice of Demons.

Depending on your outlook that could be close to true. Whoever built the stone tower temple was very against the goddesses and their icon. And seeing what became of OOT link after their use for him was over, I can’t say I blame them.
The goddesses are spoken of in positive light but it could very well be biased. Perhaps the key to breaking the cycle is to dispose of hyrule’s gods.
@@shadowrush4 In Lorule, they destroyed their Triforce . It didn't go well. The Triforce is the pillar of any "Hyrule" existence.
