I miss Phish so much! I know it's uncool to like jam bands or whatever but these guys are brilliant musicians and their music is like a serotonin generating machine for my brain
I love that you said "I know its uncool to like jambands..." Had me lol! Its so true, if you play this for someone who has the "standard classic rock" palette they definitely are quick to knock you!🤣
That's funny Jah Phish from Tucson Arizona Sonoran 🏜️ desert 🍄🍺🐠🌵 it Hit I Man but wasn't consciously aware... Got home grown... Dialing. Makisupa police Man next... 0129... Ghadaffi by my side... So I. Smoked a joint with him. We recited Shakespeare, I asked. . . Doobie or not Doobie 🌵🦢🐠🦙
5 years ago today - this was my very first Phish show. What a way to pop the cherry!! Walnut Creek is holy grounds for Phish and what an awesome show leading up to Magnaball. Cheers to posting this
A close friend of mine HIGHLY recommended this song to me. I must admit, at first I was skeptical. But after listening to it, this song is straight FIRE 🔥🔥🔥. Would definitely recommend to others!!
God, when you do that it just sounds like a spot on normal llama. Too fucking funny. WEll anyone who couldn't dig the chilled out llama can now just save a sped up version onto their collection and pretend it didn't happen haha.
thank you for posting this song! great summer tour 2015. Grateful Dead spring '77 and Phish summer 2015 are definitely 2 of my favorite complete tours of all time. where can phish go from here? guess we'll see this winter and mexico
FluffityAntelope I walked into the venue right as the vamp started and I thought, "Whoa, cool punky new tune!" Then the lyrics began and I knew immediately how awesome this was, then I bounced around for about three hours. 19 years since my first show, and I'm always amazed at the performances they bring!
Matt L yeah...was trying to get through stupid security myself...maybe they should invest in some good speakers at Walnut Creek's outside if the security is going to be so bush...other than that, great show...great run for the summer thus far
PapaGeorgio89 were you the one that can be heard yelling for it at about :08, who clearly recognized the chord from Trey's first chukka before the song actually started?
There was a girl at the Gorge this last weekend wanting a "Slow Llama." As the Boys were coming out on Night I, a bunch of us held up a Queen sized bed sheet with "Slow Llama" written on it. She was totally convinced that "the Universe would manifest it." She was wrong. After listening to this, I'm not disappointed. Slow Llama is cool and all, but really... nothing epic.
uuhhhhhh......anyone ever heard of Bob Dylan?....pretty sure he wrote the book on this kinda shit...doin songs differently......sweet P Phish take on that patented maneuver
+Mike P - love bob dylan, but I don't think he invented changing a song's tempo. For example over the past hundred years conductors have chosen to disregard the metronome marks Beethoven left when he wrote the 9th symphony. most conductors dramatically alter the speed of the music from what Beethoven intended.
Fishman still killing the intro. This time with some big time swagger as opposed to his usual breakneck pace.

If you aren't listening to this and changing the speed of the song constantly, you're doing it wrong.
Jam is a very close cousin to Funky Bitch
