Congratulations on the Outlaw news and being part of their team. I did the 70.3 there in 2021 and enjoyed it, nice course and really good organisation. Ideas for content:
I really enjoy lifestyle type updates such as:
What you eat in a day
    Breakfast ideas
    How to recover
What you do on a day off
Video showing your event calendar for next year - if not fully booked then maybe just a list of one's you're considering
Go through your general week - so like how many runs/bikes etc you do in a week, what days off you have (not necessarily to help others but more as it's just interesting seeing what people do)
Your top 5 triathlon purchases which have helped you (beyond the obvious stuff like wetsuit!)
General daily vlog, e.g. when you get up, preparing for a run, what trainers you're choosing, what you do afterwards etc
Favourite running trainers - top 3 maybe?
Agree with others about a chest strap. I have a Garmin one but I also have a few £30 ones from Amazon and they're brilliant.
    Thanks,
    Gary

Dont get to attached to ur watch. I know how u feel. Ive been running 4 times a week an my watch displayed a tempo the of 7min/km. I ran with a mate the other day. We ran same pace and same course. And my watch displayed 1min/km slower. Its really all about the feeling mate! U doing great

Confirm what other comments have said. My Garmin Wrist HR nearly always shows an average of 166 on easy/steady runs, but recently showed 144 average when I raced a half marathon. Chest heart rate strap on my Xmas list

100% get a chest strap. Currently watching this on a turbo session, and apparently my HR is 102... Can definitely tell you it isn't that low.
So many factors dictate wrist strap, sweat behind sensor, tightness of watch etc.

Yeah that makes sense, thanks so much mate! I’m definitely going to get hold of a chest strap, seems like the better way to go!

Lewis, heart rate sensors on watches are generally poor. They vary in accuracy from person to person. You absolutely need a HR strap that connects to your watch. It will reassure you and you will feel loads better.
Trust your instincts. Your watch data was probably off.

Yeah I think you’re right, thanks for the comment mate! I’ll get a chest strap and go from there I think, reassuring to know I’m likely not just moaning about nothing haha

Definately get a HR Strap. Ive used alot and by far the best is the Garmin HRM Pro Plus. Great for swimming too.

Thanks mate! I’ll take a look at that one, hadn’t really thought about using it for swimming either which would be cool!

Yep get a heart strap for sure! However, I also think there is a lot of value in how things feel and not getting hung up on the numbers. My zone 2 HR definitely isn’t like how social media would tell you lol 130-140bpm isn’t going to happen!! More like 160.

Yeah you’re definitely right! I get way to into the numbers I think, always judge a session by them which isn’t the best. I’m also similar to you in that my zone 2 is way higher than most other peoples, I could never run with a HR as low as 130 haha

@@LewisFordham I know my pace for ‘zone 2’ if my HR is 155 or 170 I don’t really care as I know it’s a pace I can do for hours on end. HR will very depending on sleep, fatigue, hydration, alcohol consumption, caffeine etc hence why two runs at the same pace could vary in HR

Buy a garmin chest strap, even the best watches when exercising are completely inaccurate when just using wrist measurement.

Thanks mate, glad to know it’s not just me being really unfit haha! Going to get hold of a chest strap for sure!
