On the manual there is a QR code for the English instructions. Also have a qr code for the PC software where you can map buttons and customize the controller
The Direwolf 2 is cheaper and has hall effect sticks. If you want hall effect, yes. The one thing I can't vouch for on these controllers is longevity, but the Xbox controller, I can.
@@RedBandanaGaming At this point I'd be more concerned about Xbox Series controllers longevity than some 3rd party Chinese controllers. Not that Chinese controllers are super amazing, they're just good enough, it's Xbox controllers hits the bottom (actually, all of them 1st party controllers for PS5, Xbox and Switch)
I got Direwolf 2 for $29. It's a good controller except for one issue: connections drop from time to time, even though I'm only two feet away from the dongle. I've heard Vader 3 Pro has the same issue but I'm not sure because I don't have one.
If you want a manual translation it's not that difficult. Take a picture of the manual with your phone. Transfer to your PC. Go to Google translate, choose Images, and drop your jpg file. Then copy and paste into a text file. There's a character limit, but there are ways to get around that as well. (I used it to translate an options menu for a Japanese version of Burgertime.) BTW, I play mainly 2D plaformers. Is the d-pad on the Vader 3 better than the one on the Direwolf 2 or about the same? Thanks.
That is actually way too difficult for most people. I mentioned that twice in the video. Your average consumer does not want to or have the time to do all that. It would be easier for them just to buy a different controller. As for the dpads, they feel identical for the most part.
@@RedBandanaGaming Yeah, I agree and it's looks like they got complaints since you got English in the manual with the Apex 4. Thanks for the d-pad info. I'm short on money and seriously looking at the Direwolf 2 if the d-pads are essentially the same.
@@Jeepster71 I put out my Apex 4 video a few days ago and it does have English instructions. I went through them in the video. It makes using these controllers easier too.
@@RedBandanaGaming @RedBandanaGaming If you still need English manuals for the Vader 3 or Direwolf 2 go here: device.report(forward slash)flydigi Replace "(forward slash)" with a forward slash. So SmartDigi sent a English speaking reviewer controllers that aren't in English? Well that's sad, so either they only have one English user as a customer service representative, or they're really good with Google translate.
@@RedBandanaGaming Why did you think the controllers dont work on switch. You need to switch the controllers to switch mode. I have a flydigi direwollf 1 and a vader 3 pro. both work on switch. but the gyro is way to sensitvite. i tsted that on a game that translates 360 degrees controller turn to 360 ingame. and the gyro turns 180 degrees more then it needs to. other then that it works great.
The vader 3 does work on the switch. i dont know what you did wrong, but it works like it is sopposed to. did you put the controller in switch mode. on the back theire are instructions ion how to switch from pc xinput to switch mode. But the only thing that does not work correctly is the gyroschope. the scaling is wrong on switch. it is way to high. I have bommerang x on switch. and it has a 1:1 setting for the gyro. So one 360 turn of the controller is 360 degrees ingame. But this controller turns 1.5 times instead of 1:1. so it does a full 360 and then another 180 degrees more. I contacted flydigi about it, but they requested a video wich i could not provide at the time.
I didn't say it didn't work on the Switch. I said with the buttons being backwards, I wouldn't recommend it. I also said it isn't stated on the box. You can remap the buttons in the Switch controller menu, but most people who want a Switch controller will just buy a dedicated Switch controller.
@@RedBandanaGaming i thought that on the vader 3 and direwolf you said it did not work on switch. i only heard you said on 1:45 that they dont work for the switch. So i did not hear what you said before about the button switching. My bad. sorry. thanks for friendly correcting me though. The great thing for me about the vader 3 pro is that rewasd fully support this controller. i am a huge gyro and even flick stick player. but most controllers are locked to switch mode or dualshock mode on steam and rewsd. And those controller dont have back buttons. With rewasd support i can put unique mappings on the back instead of being limited to just copies of existing inputs. i hope the new apex 4 will get rewasd support aswell. Do you know if the apex 4 has a real 6 axis gyro insted of the 3 axis that the used on all the older controllers?
dude do you know google lens? you can literally translate anything just taking a picture of the text. the time you past complaining you could just translate in ten sec
There is, but without English instructions, it was impossible to know that without looking it up online. They fixed that with the Apex 4. They put the instructions on how to do that with that controller.
Finally a vs controller video and also your first pc test controller awesome
from what i have seen on top of 1 of the controllers looks like a spot for the phone mont and i could be wrong but i'm not completely sure
That is quite possible. I didn't think about that.

Thank you for this. I was about to rage comment but this kept me from it:)
Would you tell people to buy this or a original xbox controller?
