I don’t know these guys personally, most likely will never know them personally but I’m so glad they are pals. Finding out two of your favorite comedians are buddies is just delightful. Also Mike to me is long road trip comedian. For some reason listening to him tell stories about his anxieties and fears takes away the anxiety of driving on long road trips by myself. I just listen to his specials back to back and he gets me through it with a smile. Good show guys
Pete! What a delight! I also listened to the conversation that you two had on Mike’s podcast… we have watched the comedy specials multiple times to do our part and keep you on Netflix - and it’s hilarious every time. Like a favorite record 😊👍
Pete, it was cool to have "Mike Biglebee" on the show. 😂 You two have a great chemistry and comfort level with each other, which made forva great show. Thank you.
i listened to the first 3 mike birbiglia ymiw episodes today while i was working, and i'm now wrapping up the night with this one. pete and mike are such a great duo - just endlessly funny and comforting and full of little (big) wisdoms
I watched “I’m not for everyone” the other night & became a fan immediately. My son who watches & listens to standup (for as long as I can remember whenever he gets in my truck switches the radio to a standup channel and breaks that whole “it’s my truck argument“) told me “be careful, he’s a flaming liberal”.. I looked at him, “when you’re funny, your funny”! I have no idea why he said that? I guess he thinks I’m judgmental and that has something to do with being a conservative? No one knows what being a conservative is, not even conservatives! I forgive it all.. I’m still a fan!!
I love the comedy from both these gentlemen. How lucky are we to live in a world where we get to experience these geniuses being silly billies? I sense a crossover pod “Working it Weird”. 😂 Truly, loved every minute. ❤
I loved Mike's new special. I have the same sleep disorder as Mike, and I'm teetering on the edge of "Pre Diabetic." It's so refreshing to learn about Mike's journey, because it is so relatable and hilarious. Thanks, Mike.
To me, this is peak podcasting. When people say "a good podcast should just feel like two friends talking" I feel like the Platonic ideal they're summoning is Mikey and Petey talking and burning each other in a room with microphones forever
@BellyLaugher 3 minutes ago I liked when you laughed at your own jokes it gave me an extra laugh...laughed at what you said & then got a tickle out of your laughing at the funny thing you thought of. I wish I made myself laugh ➡️what a great accompaniment to one's life🙃
1:02:58 thru 1:05:05 EVERYONE IN SOCIETY 👍🏼😉👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 How can we laugh at the things that we’re not laughing about???? Respect guys, sooo much respect 🫵🏽🖖🏽❤️🔥
@30:00 - the key difference is that with 5 people you can still (sort of) maintain a cohesive conversation with everyone included. Once you get to 6 or more that becomes damn near impossible without one or two people holding court and others just sitting listening, or people talking over each other. That’s when people will splinter off into multiple conversations and it starts to feel more like a party than an intimate dinner.
38:07 Mike that comment was on point. U guys seem to be discovering everything about comedy simultaneously, exactly like friends do. I LOVE this podcast. Thank u for keepin it real🫵🏽🌹🫶🏽
There are some really amazing horror movies. I personally did not get into them until recently, bc I was so afraid of triggers etc. I watched The Babadook which hits super close to home for me and it was such a great film. Of course I love Jordan Peele's work as well and many others, even the reeeeeally old classics like Nosferatu or a good Twilight Zone episode. There is still so much freedom of expression in horror that it does not always need to follow the typical movie "The Hero's Journey" template that most big films do. But of course I am still new to this and there are a lot of horror films that I probably could not watch xD But overall it is a really underrated genre with an over all very sweet fan base. Love listening to you guys as always!!!
I wish the camera would just show both of you the whole time. It only shows who’s talking at the time so we miss the non verbal reactions of the other person. Plus the back and forth is dizzying. Just sayin
Now available... Finding clothes that fit, courtesy of Wal-Mart, Target, Costco, Sam's Club. Possibly EVEN clothes that fit from OTHER retailers, like JCP Penny, Sears-Robuck and that time when Levi's sold directly via mail-order catalogue to miners. STILL! Got huevos too grande for your waistline? Too bad; Human Animal doesn't exist yet but will shortly Amazon drop-ship the name in to existence from nothing.

we should all strive more to know them personally
”If you want to distance yourself from it, maybe don’t frame it” is pure genius.

“This is like ALF walking into Cheers.” Killed me. 💀
This feels wild. Pete has lost his mind and found his soul and I love it.
The sparring is really beautiful. You can tell it's between two friends.

I'm watching this to the backdrop of a lovely 3 hour winter walk in the snow in Finland.
Damn, that pen analogy was poetry
The bit where you inducted Mike into the comedy hall of fame killed me
The Kroll impression about brunch was pretty good
As a comedy nerd, one of my favorite things is comedians impersonating other comedians.
To a degree, I wish more comedians laughed at their own jokee during their performances, it instantly makes everything funnier for me
I loved Mike's new special. I have the same sleep disorder as Mike, and I'm teetering on the edge of "Pre Diabetic." It's so refreshing to learn about Mike's journey, because it is so relatable and hilarious. Thanks, Mike.
I love listening to both of these guys. Shame Mike didn't get a chance to talk though 😄
Been a huge Pete fan forever, never knew he was so good at roasting, especially Birbiglia, maybe he's only good at roasting HIM,.but it's so great 😆
What I should have said... was Marriott :D :D Funniest bit from the pod!
Love this! Thanks, guys!
Goodness. Nothing has made me laugh like you too. And it explains what’s wrong with me!
Huge Birbig’s fan, and delighted to hear you two are buddies, because I love you both! Pod-to-Pod, amaz! ❤️❤️❤️
To me, this is peak podcasting. When people say "a good podcast should just feel like two friends talking" I feel like the Platonic ideal they're summoning is Mikey and Petey talking and burning each other in a room with microphones forever
“hosts SNL 72 times in the liquid” HAHA
A dinner party of five is chaos, seven is helter skelter.. when you're most comfortable with a party of one.
Another fun episode. Edit looks great, Joe!
1:07:25 😂 this part on had me cracking up at work 😂

Pete’s Mulaney is very Lovitz
They’re not that far apart
When will the stand up special "I'm not for everyone" be released in EU location of Netflix?
I love both of you, but Pete, let the man talk!
Pete kinda looks like Jack Nicholson in The Departed in this outfit
The apple podcasts have the 2017 birbiglia episode on for this week. Good luck with Crashing. I think that show has some real potential.
38:07 Mike that comment was on point. U guys seem to be discovering everything about comedy simultaneously, exactly like friends do. I LOVE this podcast. Thank u for keepin it real🫵🏽🌹🫶🏽
This podcast literally helped me not have a manic bipolar episode today with my three kids

Both these guys look like they just woke up, lol
Oh shit Joey Bag o'Donuts.

John Mulaney in a blue liquid 38:34
1:08:05 had me laughing so hard!
Pete may I recommend to you the song "Father" by The Front Bottoms
Yeah Birbigs!! 💜💜
I get these 2 guys confused. It didn’t help that Pete opened by saying, “this is Mike Birbiglia.”
I'm excited to see Pete Holmes making new content and commenting on his other works!
The ads could use a balance, however...
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
$82 bucks for Mike at Massey Hall... Do a set at Comedy Bar I'll pay ya $20 and buy a T-Shirt. The east side one.
Big seats.
Bill Burr is the GOAT. MMP is gold

Weird

Why doesn't Pete Holmes let Mike Birbiglia talk?
Holy shit I forgot all about the critic
Anyone else click this thinking it was Pete Davdison?

Miked.
You’re the best!
this guy still exists!?
1:07:56 Mike turns into Brian Regan when sick. Burn.
Bill Burr used to be a big fan of his dog. Until his wife made him get rid of it
love your comedy bro but its a bit of a bait and switch with the bat canned series eh
Love the pod but those jeans are 70 bucks WITH the discount, ill pass.
❤❤❤
