LOMO Super Speed Lens Test

The Lomo Super Speeds were originally designed in Russia in the 1980s for the Academy 35mm format. The lenses are dreamy wide open, beautifully vintage at 2/2.8 and sharpen up dramatically around 5.6. This 9 Lens set has been rehoused by GL Optics in their MK5 housing.

The test shows each lens on an Arri Alexa35 in open gate wide open, at 2.8 and 5.6, Close focus, Flaring wide open and at 5.6. The 22mm and 28mm also have Alexa35 16x9 Crops and the 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 150mm and 200mm show Open Gate on the Arri Alexa MiniLF.
