I loved the Alias Grace series as well, so I’m glad to hear you liked the book, I’m intrigued to read that as well. Foe sounds good too, what a weird premise 😅
My non-physical TBR is always growing!! My physical TBR hasn’t grown much because I’m doing my best to not purchase books unless I’ve already read them and I’ve been focusing on reading the books off my shelves. I just need to stop going to my library. 😅
Sins/Wraith/Blood of Empire. I loved that series , didn't know about Promise of Blood so it was like a sequel for me and I enjoyed it. Iain Reid (I'm Thinking of Ending Things). I'll try FOE because I really like the author's writing style.
I really wanted to like Promise of Blood. Sometimes the writing style in books just takes me out of it. 😖 I really want to read more Ian Reid!! I’m surprised Foe has such a low rating on Goodreads.
@@Maeve_Ever_Books I just posted the final review for The Dark Tower series. I started a project where I was going to read all the King novels from the 70s and 80s. I made it through everything in the 70s. I got to the 80s and did Firestarter & Cujo. I then decided to abandon the project and just read the Dark Tower series instead. I slogged my way through the gauntlet of books by sheer willpower. It was the most miserable reading experience of my entire life. I refused to DNF.
@@dustinneely I definitely need to watch your Stephen King videos! I’ve only read 6 of his books so far and only have 5 others I care to try. Out of the ones I’ve read, I only gave one a 5⭐️
How do all your books look brand new after you have read them. Mine usually look like a two year old got ahold of them for a few days. 😂 Foe??? 🧐 Hmmm Foe? I might have to check this one out... that sounds interesting. Great wrap up!
@@FacelessBookReviews I’m usually pretty gentle with my books but, also… I did buy new copies of some of them(the ones in trilogies mostly) because it was cheaper to buy a set than buying the individual books I needed. 😅 Let me know if you ever try Foe!
I’m so glad I’m not the only one!! I was talking to someone recently and when I told them about that scenario they said that they just read over the names and it didn’t bug them.
Because of you i read my first book in almost a year. Thanks my friend!
@@shelbyjohns5269 That makes me so happy!! 💕
Love you, guffie!
Looks like a great month! You're helping motivate me to knock out a few of the books on TBR, too. 😄
It was!! Even with the disappointing DNFs.
And I’m so glad I can be motivating!! Get that TBR!
So happy you loved Foe! It’s so so good 😘😘
@@onceuponabookishsteph Agreed!! I loved it! I’m surprised it has such a low rating on GoodReads.

@@ellenmadebookclub I highly recommend both Alias Grace and Foe!! Such good books!
Wowow 46 books left to read is amazing!!! You made such great progress this month 🎉👏🏻
@@BinxThinx Thank you!! I’m actually at 54 because I miscounted but, I still think that’s doable. 😅
@@Maeve_Ever_Books ooh that’s still doable!! I miscount all the time heh
Oooh a Natural History of Dragons looks soo good! Such an interesting premise and cover is stunning 😍
@@BinxThinx I loved it!! I’m planning on picking up more from the series next year. 😊
@@Maeve_Ever_Books ooh that’s awesome! I’ll need to check it out when I finish my tbr 😅🤣
My tbr list only seems to grow!

Dnf books my friend! I'm bad at it.
I’m great at it!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Appreciate the honesty in your review.
@@dustinneely Thank you!! I know my opinions aren’t always going align with other people but, I’d rather just be honest.
@@Maeve_Ever_Books I know what that's like. The Stephen King fans aren't too happy with me right now. Keep it 💯! 👍

I don’t like when names are repeated over and over again either and dnf’d a book early in because of it
