I’ve had my 2019 Jeep Trailhawk since September 2018. I’m not much of a “car” guy but I’ll tell you this car is amazing! Super comfortable, tons of power and absolutely seemless shifting! Someone even said the rims looks cheap, are you kidding, the rims are beautiful and when you drive it over rough roads it feels super solid! I have no regrets buying this vehicle! How can anyone say this is an ugly vehicle, the inside being black leather with deep red accents is beautiful! I think a lot of these negative comments come from jealous people, take one for a week and tell me you don’t love it!

Getting our 19 Cherokee Limited on Saturday. I just got my 19 Wrangler Sahara last month. The Cherokee looks gorgeous. We had to get one from 200 miles away to get the exact one we wanted. I had ordered my Wrangler. We've had Hondas, Toyotas, Subarus, Fords, Chevy's, even Range Rovers. Trading my wife's Mazda CX-5. By the way, don't ever get a Land Rover product, they are all horrifyingly unreliable. Enjoy your new Trailhawk. LOTS of jealousy around isn't there.

Picked up our Cherokee Limited on Saturday. So far 300 miles this weekend. Extremely comfortable!. 9 Speed Tranny shifts flawlessly!!. Clearly they retuned it, perhaps some 19's in the first batch weren't perfect but this one is like butter!. Love it. My Wrangler 2019, 8 spd. shifts perfectly as well.

♥️ my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with a 4cyl turbo. I had the 2014 for 5 years and that was great but the 2019 is much improved. The transmission, power and handling. On and off-road I love the vehicle. I had no issues with my 2014 besides needing a new battery. So far so good with my 2019.

Been enjoying my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Elite since March 2018. Estimate off pavement exploring 2-4 days a month where I've occasionally used 4low to get where I was going, mostly around Death Valley, CA & NV. Off pavement, had no trouble navigating through deep mud (12" or so), steep grades with mud and loose rock, stock tires have been reliable traversing extremely rough terrain with sharp rocks, etc. Very pleased with its performance, on road and off, never had any transmission issues. Couple weeks ago, drove through a blinding Death Valley sandstorm. As I was about to drive clear of all the blasting sand and dust, several warning indicators (collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, lanesense) began flashing on the dashboard. Pulled over and found the primary sensor below the front bumper coated in dust with a flattened insect. Used a damp tissue to wipe it clean. All systems returned to normal. That event was the only time I experienced any sort of performance issue with my Jeep. Very pleased with this comfortable and reliable 4x4 vehicle.

Is it just me, or all reviews now are homogeneous and just a big list of specs. Not knocking this video, i just hear a lot of “car is great” and “one of the best in the segment” in 99% of reviews. They can’t all be “one of the best”

It's not you, the sales people go over the features while the reviewers go over likes and dislikes. I just traded in a Jeep 2014 Trailhawk and Limited for two 2019 JP Trlhwk Elites. I am watching as many videos of this model and learning about the features since the Salesman only knew the basics. Many of the safety features I have been using for several years in a class 8 truck.

If I were to get a Cherokee, I would get the Trailhawk even though I don't go off-roading. My area could get a lot of snow. So the extra ground clearance is nice to have. Also I like the black unpainted front and rear bumpers. Unpainted bumpers should hold up a lot better to everyday bumps and dings than painted bumpers found in other Cherokee models. Plus the lower profile front bumper should handle deep unplowed snow better than the standard bumper. And the off-road oriented tires should handle the snow and potholes better than the ones found in the non Trailhawk models.

My 2015 Cherokee Trailhawk has practically everything he talks about here. So not much has changed other than the nose shape. I prefer the original rugged front. I will be keeping my American built Cherokee. 👍👍

Just had a 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk out for a test drive , during the drive the drivers side window guard detached from the car and got ran over by a truck behind me on the TCH , The hood would lift every time i met a large vehicle or there was a gust of wind. then the start stop engine feature stopped working and gave a warning light . The turbo 2.0L engine had good power but sounded thrashy .I am thinking that quality control isn't a huge priority at Jeep . Pretty disappointed , i wanted to like it but with a sticker price of close to 50k Jeep needs to do much better imho

    Zach I disagree
It's true Jeep might be the first SUV,but Jeep did not start the SUV craze.
Ford did, with the Ford Explorer. The explorer did so well, it's quickly become one of the most successful model in Ford history.

I have a TH Elite from 8 miles to 49158 miles no troubles really just a ghost in the radio that freezes out any control of volume or change stations
No light in center armrest and the cut out for phone charger cords should be moved from the side to front. No light under the hood and the rear cargo area needs better locations for the lights.
The touch screen controls are too small and placed too close to others.
Pretty cool you can turn on the rear camera while driving. lol

Nice video, lots of info! This is one of three cars my wife wants , though not the Trailhawk version. My biggest concern is really the transmission. There was a lot talk two years ago about how "jumpy" it was. And while I know this transmission can be found in other manufacturer's vehicles, the complaints all seemed to be from Cherokee owners. I definitely will wait a few months to see what people say about the 2019.

When I was in the market for another Jeep after my GC was wrecked I had to choose between the Cherokee and Compass. What is interesting is the Compass looks like a baby Grand Cherokee. Although I like my Compass, I think if I had to do it again it would go with the Cherokee Trailhawk.

I suppose we’ll never see another Cherokee Wagoneer. I owned and loved that model. Essentially...a Limited model with wood paneling! I believe mine was called a Briarwood. Although tacky today... Jeep truly had a unique look. Unlike this current model... aside from that (odd) new front.... it now looks like every other mid sized Utility.... except with FCA’s infamous build quality. Thanks for the video Zack.

got a 2015 Cherokee trail hawk. no problems so far. 105,000km running smooth as ever. I live in Alberta, and last year was one of the worst winters I've ever experienced as far as snow and temperature. My trail hawk kept me warm and safe. It was a joy to drive. A foot of snow was nothing. I mean I had stock rims and tires and it was smooth. As far as transmission, there's def a bit of a lag between low gears (2nd/3rd) but as far as reliability, I am confident about my trail hawk reaching over 500k km.

The only issue related to the transmission I'm aware of with the 2019 model is a calibration issue when mated to the 2.4L 4-cylinder engine, which can result in engine stalls. But seriously, people, why would anyone buy the 4 cylinder when there is a much more powerful and capable 6 cylinder available for not that much more money and not that much worse fuel mileage.
So yes, do your research, and arrive at the conclusion that the 6 cylinder is the correct choice, or maybe the new turbo 4 cylinder.

This Grand Cherokee is a great jeep but I still don't understand why they don't come with a CD player. Hypercars like McLarens, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins even Bugattis come with CD players, yet the Jeep does not? I had buy the Toyota Highlander instead of the Jeep because the Jeep didn't come with a CD player. A highlander is a great crossover SUV.

Too vintage, man! In a few years you won't hear about CD's never more. But if it is your choice, go ahead and buy your highlander

I DEEPLY REGRET buying my 2020 Cherokees. Learn from my MISTAKES. My 1st 2020 Cherokee was a lemon and my 2nd 2020 Cherokee was not built right and neither Jeep or the selling dealer Bob Poynter Columbus will make it right . BUYER BEWARE do NOT BUY a Cherokee or trust a Jeep dealer. Just Empty Every Pocket is a TRUE acronym.
