Good afternoon grandpa, hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I haul a mix load of scrap in my truck this morning and netted $118.00 for a mixed load of shred, copper, brass. Total weight was 600 lbs. I consider that a small pay day. Take care and I will see you on the next video.

@@ScrappingwithGrandpa I have 4 kids. Raised them by driving a truck over the road. My wife stayed home with the kids. My oldest is 32 and my youngest 24. My wife and I have had a long road but we’ve got through it together. I’m glad and happy to watch your videos! You’re a great person! I’ll keep in touch.

I took broke down dryer today that I picked up this morning . It had over 12.00 in change in the bottom of it.
Wow. That sounds awesome. I’ve never found quite that much.
I pulled a old Kenmore dryer out of our small town dumpster, brought it home, dismantled it and found out the electric motor had aluminum windings. At least it had the copper cord.
It doesn’t matter if it has copper or aluminum you can still turn it in as an electric motor electric motors pay better than shred Metal
@@ScrappingwithGrandpa I'll remember that. I already dismantled the motor. At least I have a decent amount of aluminum from it along with copper and brass from the cord. I returned the sheet metal since I have no place to store it. I just store small steel items in bins.
That is so awesome my friend. I’m glad to hear that you have someplace to store some of it. I store my motors that I call electric motors. I get between 25 and $.35 a pound for them whether they are copper or aluminum some of the copper motors I don’t take apart Because they’re too hard

best be careful the Freon in use to day is very flammable and explosive the units have to carry a large warning sticker on them now
If it has Freon in it, I don’t take it apart

I just calling Phil I've been watching his channel for 6 years I think I've watched every video he's produced at least once but if it didn't say your channel is awesome too you guys do pretty much the same thing you know you know that's what I like and you guys are down to Earth to when I say most of scrapping channels are awesome
Put it on something to prop it up higher. You can get ANYTHING. I always figure a way. I’ll take it apart on the spot to get it.

No lies thinking about that probably about 6 hours ago I was thinking like it would drop down underneath your trailer and all kind of be like a step come up you know and then you can raise it up and down I can like give good ideas on like describing things and you know but building it that's a whole another question you know as I suck at building things
