I felt the same way about Deadly Education. I didn't like the writing style or exposition either. It got kind of interesting in the middle but then lost its momentum. By the end, I was just glad I didn't have to continue reading it. I ended up giving it a 2.5 stars, it just wasn't for me.
I am so so feeling this, oh my days. I actually found Deadly Education painful...

@@jaelvazquez4184 i so agree, this was one of my most anticipated books of the year. I even had to start reading it from beginning from about chapter 5 as nothing was sticking at all. I am still trying to put my thoughts about it into polite words for my Goodreads. I could seriously rant review the book big time like i did with The Shadows between Us
Hi doll! Check your Hollowpox book my signed copy had pages missing and the first 2 chapters are muddled up too. Waterstones says the standard edition is the same too. I nearly cried when I opened mine it’s such a pretty book. Love your videos 🖤🖤

Deadly Education holy shit, that was a head fuck of a book...oh my days. The writing is bloody awful and I agree it is like eavesdropping over someone’s conversation put on to paper so for me this was like a dark academia version of Aurora Rising...
I didn’t pick up on anything racist throughout the book...The main character was ok as was Orion but the rest of them...it was pointless to a degree and the book drove me insane.
I struggled with taking in a lot of it and I got pissed off with rereading parts as I just couldn’t remember what I had read. This book really brought on goldfish syndrome and has made me really really slumpy 😫😫😫😫
