  • Answering the question "What's your most successful build?" In armor I think it's this project. Taught me a lot about sifting through and piecing together bits of information at times, to complete a story to be told in diorama. Striving to get the camo done properly, learning how to build a scene that represents a British Mk. 1 Rhomboid in the Somme. I ramble a bit, but it's just fun talking about a project that you put a lot into. Half the enjoyment was simply the task of learning the history of this tank, and the early Rhomboids and the journeys they had on September 15th, 1916.

Dustin, what an awesome diorama. A fitting tribute to the first tankers and those that fought in that war.

This build had me interested from the history stand point. It also got me interested in doing and armor build the first time. Always was a car & truck builder but got the itch to do armor after watching this build.

Think Bovingtons mk1 was a training tank it never left the UK or saw any action then sat at the gate if Bovington base for years till it was given to the museum!
