    Thank you for this detailed, concise explanation!! It is SO frustrating navigating Amazon to find the answers yourself. This video is better than Amazon. I'm at the process of sending shipment details to my supplier and I was wondering about the FNSKU to go on the label. I didn't know there was a requirement for both the UPC and FNSKU on the product as well as shipment label. Thank you so much for this video.

    I'm just starting out and have been looking for clear, concise answers to my questions! The answers in this vid being one of them! I can not thank you enough for your simple easy to follow explanations throughout this vid! It's been awesome to watch! It seems every time I ask a question to certain groups that I belong to, more times than not, I get some convoluted answer, having nothing to do with the question at hand! Thanks again for this very important video!

Thank god for Crescent as many of his videos are instructional. I like the 'Why' videos also. Thank you very much. Would you have a video that talks about what those buttons mean? like: copy listing, add another condition, match low price, create removal order and close listing. Perhaps they are explained in seller central once I join? thanks again.

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're welcome. I don't have anything specific. Match low price will set your price to the lowest price of a seller that is selling the same product on your listing (a hijacker). Create removal order allows you to pull units from your inventory and send them to yourself or elsewhere. Close listing is just that, close the listing.

Trying to print 44 up FNSKU labels on a laser printer BUT lost formatting with the dimensions with 2"x 1"(48.5mm x 25.4mm). Any ideas, please? Love your videos! However, I do not see the Print item label in the drop-down, and yes, it is set to FBA. I have 20 variations, so is it why it might take longer? I have yet to add any inventory because I want to ensure that my listing is not going live since my product is still in China and awaiting professional images. I have created it because I need to send FNSKU to my vendor. I gathered that's how it works... I am having a hard time with this Amazon system. I watched too many videos, but I finally found your channel today!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Can you please advise if you can from what I described above ;)
    To add, I do not have UPC's because I have 20 variations. I am avoiding the expense since I don't know if the product will do well for my brand. I did not see anywhere where to apply for the GTIN exemption, so I am frustrated. Please advise.

      Hello, I’m glad you’re finding value in the content! If you just switched it to FBA, you may need to wait a couple hours for the listing to update. Otherwise, contact seller support if it still isn’t available. Here’s a new video on this topic: th-cam.com/video/-IOFXsLDFhA/w-d-xo.html
      And GS1 barcodes only cost $30/ea. You’re creating problems for yourself by getting a GTIN exemption.

    I would say your videos are the simplest to understand and the easiest to follow. I need the smallest FNSKU on my designed package. My listing does not require a UPS or GTIN, only the FNSKU to my understanding. However, I found my FNSKU label dimension on my designed package does not fit the FNSKU label range. It is now 1X 0.75 inch and was designed for a UPC I believe. What is the smallest FNSKU label I can get, please? Is it 44-up on A4 size paper, please? Looks like I have to redesign the package to fit the label. I am also trying to figure out my HP laser printer for A4 and US letter size. The dimensions are a little confusing for me whenever it comes to inches and lbs. :)
    Does the laser printer work for the labels or it has to be a thermal printer, please?
    I am finally going to print my first label today! For the warning label, I have a sentence printed on the product package that says: This is not a toy. " and also I put a " ages 4+" on the product package and "MADE IN CHINA". Can that be used as a warning sign and product origin, please? Or do I have to add them to the label, please?
    Again, thank you so much for making these great videos!

Quick question though, with the labelling (for private label) do you have to have the UPC code on the physical product if you're going to be putting the amazon label on as well? Or do I just need the UPC so I can create the listing? Amazon will be doing the preparing. Thanks

    Crescent you are pure gold! Thank you! I have a question for you. We have a small family business and we sell a food product in Europe for three years now. We recently created an amazon uk account. Our products have already EAN codes on their packages cause we are selling in the EU and we have to follow the EU regulations. Do we still need to have FNSkU codes on our products? We are gonna register our brand these days also. And we are trying to design an extra package for our product, something like a sack with our logo on it, just to differentiate from other competitors. Inside the sack the product is ready to be sold as it is. It’s easy for amazon just to pull the sack and see our barcode? The sack will not cover the whole product. Would it be a problem for us? I’m sorry for the long questions.

    • @CrescentKao
      @CrescentKao  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're welcome! If you don't have any resellers, then you can use the EAN. Otherwise, I suggest using the FNSKU to prevent comingling.

      @blacksails6925 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Crescent Kao thank you! No we don’t have any resellers. We are gonna use our EAN code then. As for the sack I asked you, according to amazon package requirements the barcode and the name of the product must be visible and easy scanning. And it must be on the outer package of the product. So we have to figure out another way to include our sack with the product.

    Hi Crescent, just a question on once you click on "Change to Fulfilled by Amazon". There are quite few steps after choosing this option. It me to a page that asks if I want to "Accept Label Service" or "Decline Label Service". Naturally I thought "Decline Label Service" as I'm going to forward the labels to my suppliers for them to apply. Then another page comes up. Asking me to "Convert Only" and "Convert & Send Inventory". I think in this case it would be "Convert Only". But because this is my first time, I wanted to make sure I do this correctly. On the "Barcode type" it shows "Merchant Barcode" in the dropdown box by default. I'm guessing since its FNSKU, it would be "Amazon barcode" I needed to choose. Is this correct?

    Thanks Crescent. This works however when I print it, the quality is poor. I downloaded it from Pixlr as a high-quality JPG but when I print it, it looks like a copy of a copy of a copy if you know what I mean. It must be losing some quality when you take the screen capture and copy that into Pixlr. Is this just an expected byproduct of doing it this way or am I missing something?

      You're welcome. You must be doing something on one of the steps that's reducing the quality or resolution of the image.

    I had to design and create a package for my product in order to have my brand approved and amazon approved it. Should i send the exact package design to the manufacturer and have the product packed into them or no need to be the same package that was used to register my brand?

      You don't have to use the same design you submitted to Amazon but your packaging should still have your brand and barcode on it: th-cam.com/video/lcGHgplGkbY/w-d-xo.html
