bill cullen of all the game show guys other than perhaps alex trabek is my favoite. he genuinely looks happy when contestants get big money, feels bad when they screw up and it costs them a game, and always looked like he was having a blast. i don't remember him that well outside of buzzer reruns but love him. never afraid to make fun of himself. most game show hosts were trying to get themselves over constantly. (ie gene rayburn and bowser) he got himself over by being funny, classy, not over the top, and looking like every emotion and comment he made was genuine. alex trabek did a good job of this also. any time a game show host that mainly deals with useless trivia/info makes comments about well i didn't know that, or well u learn a lot hosting a game show, etc. deserves ones respect. alex did that often, and it surprised me when he would at first because i'm sitting their thinking, "why admit to that on air?" comment about it on a commercial break or what ever. he did it on air and as far as i could tell always made the episode because, a. it showed humility, and b it showed he was a genuine person.. i don't remember bill doing that, but that's not to say he didn't, or wouldn't have, just that i didn't see him do it.
I agree!
Tom and Bill were my absolute favorite game show people....now they're in heaven.
Tom Kennedy hosted a show called "You Dont Say"..I won 250k Gold Bond stamps (83 1/3 books) when they used my mailed in entry on their bonus round
This is gold, thank you.. RIP Tom

What is Tom Kennedy up to these days?
hasnt really been up to anything at all since October 7, 2020.
Weren't Tom and Bill brothers in law at one time?
Yes. Jack was married to Ann Cullen's sister from 1947-1961. He would later marry Doe and remained married to her until his death.
I liked Allen Ludden the best, then maybe Bob Barker. Thought Kennedy was great on Split Second.
Unlike Tom, Bill was a 'social butterfly'.
