Planting Dahlias and Couple of Peonies!

- Today we are planting Cafe Au Lait, Labyrinth, Lake Ontario and 2 packages of Assorted Dahlias that are a combo of Pompom, Decorative and Cactus. Then we will plant 2 Alexander Fleming Peonies and Sow Blue Star Combine Seeds in Matilda's Cottage Garden.

Hi there, I enjoyed seeing the Dahlias being planted. I will be doing the same when it dries up here. I'm really looking forward to Matilda's Cottage Garden tours and all the rest of your projects.
Thanks was just thinking about all the projects and how to attack them to get as much done as possible this year and keep the back breaking work to a minimum a real challenge.
I got my auger from Lee Valley a couple of years ago. Well worth it. I still have my dahlias and perennials in their pots on my front porch. Trying to decide whether to plant them or not. I don't see any frost in my forecast. Those dahlias are going to be gorgeous. I have Alexander Fleming peony too. Bonny
I had that debate to the forecast looks good so figured time to get some tasks done and get some plants out of the house so I can do a. Good deep cleaning soon. Gonna be a gorgeous weekend so I hope to go hard in the garden. Love Alexander Fleming I cut the flowers and brought them in figured they would be snapped with the wind been enjoying them in my office. Nice established plants should put on a nice show next year.
Where did you get your peony ring?
I bought them a few years ago at Walmart sometimes I can find them at dollarama or the dollar store. I also use tomato cages and find the ones at the dollar stores are excellent the metal is very strong.
