At around 50:15, you guys said that you are over the command module's power limit and you have to spend his power. You don't actually have to do so. Command module has starting power, not a bank limit. He also doesn't have his own turn, so there's no point where you need to route power and get below a limit. If you want to read up, it's the left side of page 13 of the rules reference.
I am so excited to see you play a Chip Theory Game. They are one of my favorite publishers. Their production quality is amazing and their games are challenging, complex, and strategic. They are also a really good group of people as well. Let’s hope that Too Many Bones might make it’s way on the channel someday. Thanks again for all your amazing work!
When the walker reaches the unlocked door on its patrol (at 1:40:47), it will lock it (due to its cautious ability). This means it will later (at 1:54:25) move towards the other unlocked door on its patrol
At 1:57:40 aren’t you technically on a tech chip when taking the additional unoptimised keypad action? Shouldn’t this still prevent you from fulfilling Naveen’s Imperative card?
You track awareness during guard movement. At 39:27 when you enter the room with the bulldog, the command module is in the awareness of the guard. So you should have put his awareness chip out on his spot. I'm not sure about transmitters awareness because of his special power. In any case if the awareness chip the guard is investigating moves, the guard will alter it's movement direction if necessary
Love your playthroughs as they are straight to the point and therefore enjoyable to watch! A question though, how come the CM is not detected at 1h34? Wouldn't the hall guard have become aware and thus an awareness chip should have been dropped into the room, resulting in the guard following the CM into the room?
Your work is amazing! Love the production quality on every video. Have you considered adding an overlay view for closeup shots of cards or other small components?
Thank you! What sort of overlay view? Like a 3rd camera? Or including closeup card assets? Adding closeups of cards is always something we are trying to improve upon, but for now our only option has been to provide zoomed angles of the top-down camera. Ideally, we’d love to include specific card assets but oftentimes publishers are unable to provide those. We’re definitely open to suggestions!
@1:09:31 aren’t you supposed to end your turn on the Green node in order to complete the Network? Or are you able to finish up the Movements once you complete the cards objectives?
YES!! So happy to see you guys doing this. I haven't even watched the video yet, but I can tell you that this will probably inform my decision on whether or not to buy the game.
Hi! The third option would have just let us decrease the threat level, which was at zero so it had no effect. The first option would give 4 power but Monique didn't select it (due to not having enough dice to roll). Hope that makes sense!
@@BeforeYouPlay absolutely, I clearly misheard the choice order so that makes full sense. As a slight aside, good to see the channel going from strength to strength and look forward to hopefully seeing you guys at Airecon again in the next few years should your schedules allow.
@@BeforeYouPlay When you do an optimized tech action on a terminal, you select the 2 options you want and then resolve either one or both depending on what you roll. So, in Monique's case, she could have chosen the top 2 and then decide based on what she got, since she rolled >5 she could have gotten the power - the benefit of optimizing! For more info page 5 in the rules ref.
I'm sure its a good game and I've tried to watch many different playthroughs to judge if I should try to get it but I just cant get by the board display I'm very disappointed in myself
The CM can definitely use a terminal, though if it gives any benefits (e.g. increased power), that will apply to the CM directly, not the player's agent bot. The CM may also carry equipment (there are spaces on its mat for two items), so it can collect caches, but the CM not able to use equipment (rules reference p17). It can, however, trade equipment with other bots it is adjacent to, so can be used as an equipment "store". It can also make use of equipment that have a "discard" keyword (e.g. it can gain a key and use it, via a key equipment card)
At 0;38..You should have change the awareness chip position… When a security unit is investigating an awareness chip (that is not sharing a space with a bot) and while during their movement they detect that bot, the awareness chip is immediately moved to that bot and the security unit will alter it's path to continue it's movement toward the new awareness chip location
leaving a comment just to support this series, best board game series on youtube.

They are super nice people! Maybe Monique will attempt it solo, we'll see!
You guys are awesome and make it look so easy !! Please make a playthrough of Tsukuyumi & Cloudspire. More dudes on maps playthroughs please 😊
Not familiar with Tsukuyumi but always love Japanese themed games! Does it play well at 2?
Can't wait to watch this! Thank you so much for putting it together, adore this game!
Thanks for the tutorial video, you two! Great job!
Great video thank you . All the best 👍
Thank you for the video, it was very informative.

So glad you guys did this one. Was thinking about this game and now I get to try before I think about it any more!
And I’m glad I watched it. This game isn’t for me and I’m glad I got to see it tabled so I could learn that
@@pegwin7743 Glad we could help either way! Thanks for watching

Nevermind my comment it's a hamster with 2 awareness, so it doesn't spot you when entering
Ah yes, you're right! Monitoring changes in awareness was tricky for us

So, was it requested that "Ocularity" was showcased, as kovray did on their video?
No, we chose Ocularity =)

Saw this at BGG con and it was crazy how premium it felt with the pewter minis.
Great play through. Quick question at minute :39, when the bulldog investigates, does it become aware of interface in the room?
Yes, it does. Unless a bot is in a hiding spot.
Edit:The bulldog will become aware, but will not change the target of investigation mid activation.
@@HansJoachimMaier Thanks for the clarification!
Yes, and then shouldn't the Bulldog in the other room move to investigate it?

@24:00 I thought you took optimised action and did not pick the3rd option of card therefore were you not meant to get the 4ap as well?

Can the CM use a terminal and/or grab Cache?
I believe the CM can use the terminal and can technically pick up cache, but can't hold equipment...so the cache is not useful to them.

Nice mousepads
Now you have played it, what did you guys actually think of the game?
I'm also very curious to hear a review
I'm afraid to watch this. I watched your Moonrakers 3p playthrough, having no interest in the game. Now I'm backing it.🤣
LOL sorry!!

I found this one really confusing even after watching two playthrough videos and the rules. Just didn't click.
